I disagree. It was rushed but that exact reason might be why scum voted there in the first place. In hindsight knowing black's flip that should be obvious, but scum had 11/13 chance of hitting town, and the less discussion on one the better, so i agree with umlaut that there should be at least one more scum on the wagon. Scum would gain to rush a wagon that they knew at least didn't have their team, lest the discussion turn around and hit one of them. You have to realize self preservation comes before the preservation of the entire scum team.

If we decide to go on that, then we have about 6 elims to work with out of a possible 4.. regardless i feel it'd be best if we started our analysis from people inside the wagon rather than outside.

yeah ok that's true. Scum are gonna try to work with the information they have. Makes me not really feel that bad about Umlaut talking more about wagon stuff

My problems here are twofold. I have no idea what we were "at odds" about for one, but also I'm pretty sure the most recent game we were in together was Chrono Trigger where I literally got Umlaut mislimmed as Town because I pulled a poorly thought out fake Cop gambit out of my ass, so to hear that it's weird he isn't nodding along with me is... well, a bit weird.

We were "at odds" because I misread or misremembered your earlier post as having a strong scumread on Bingle that didn't make sense to me. I'll need to go back to that game because I do remember it, but I remember even then going, "Damn, I guess he's scum even though I don't see it at all in his play..." and being more annoyed than surprised to find it was a gambit.

Okay, I found the game, it was Open 875. I remember we were pretty in sync (though wrong) on Ranger:

I really think you all should listen to what Radical Rat is saying about Ranger. I would reiterate it but they've already put it as well as it can be put. Nothing about her play today is pro-town.

I might be overestimating just how in sync we were in general because the Ranger question ended up being most of what I was talking and thinking about in the game.

This pretty much indicates what it sounds like, I believed you were scum because that was the most parsimonious explanation for your using a mechanically incoherent gambit to get me yeeted, even though I didn't see much in general to indicate scumminess at that point.

It's a meta read but i wouldn't call it stupid.

I mean... I've also explained why I think it's stupid, but that's not the point of the question. FB has to the best of my knowledge never caught me as scum and there are roughly 0 players who have ever been able to read me off of meta. (Mathblade claimed to have a a meta based scumtell on me, but that was years ago and he hasn't been in one of my scumgames since, so :shrug:) I take your point in that FB might have expected scum me to be able to defuse the wagon, though, that's definitely a reasonable assumption.

Scum would have been rushing with <10 hours on the clock. Another flashwagon wasn't really super likely and if I had been scum who wasn't me or Drew I don't think I'd have been concerned about it at all. Basically everything after my vote was just confirming that ANY lim would go through. If Fire was scum with specifically me or Drew I could maybe see the momentum shift as scum motivated, but I think failing to eliminate anyone was more likely than any name other than three of us (me black Drew) going through. I'd put the odds of scum on wagon as about the same as the odds of scum in any other list of 6 people, discounting specific reads. And I tend to think the people off wagon are individually scummier than the people on wagon. If I got to pick 4 names to shoot here, it'd be osuka, Drew, sheep, Umlaut aorn.
