like if deltabreedy is town, there's like a 50% reasonable chance he's going to win the game even if he gets limmed. if deltabreedy is scum, he is very much not going to win the game right now. 0%. so he must play in a different way from town!him that might achieve endgaming. thats why differences in meta exist for most players. like my scum meta needs to be this very villagery version of me that feels very different from my towngame. because currently im still at a point where my town meta gets limmed a decent amount of the time
I think the game fire recently played with me, the scarfolk open c9++ one, is a good example of how I would play as SK. like I was technically groupscum, but it was 2 mafia in a game of 13, and my partner slot was very absent (replaced twice) and always looked like they would die way before me. I felt like an SK and basicallyy played my scum meta. like I did super in-depth explainy things to win a bunch of townreads and I could see the negatives in everyone and tried at many opportunities to push people and keep testing the waters. here I think I could be cleared as non-sk just off how drastically I am not playing like that particular game in any way
that fuels like, me thinking I have the right to believe that fire is just town as opposed to having to say "not mafia but potential sk." probably datisi too. roden could be sk tho.
cuz almost everyone here is under palpable threat of being limmed, and that means they'd need to play like scum do if they were SK rather than being literally impossible to separate from how a town would play
Done some mulling on this and I think I'm the 'obvious' lim today. Three of you broadly have suspected me at one point or another, weirdly I think Datisi is the only one not to have done. I get this vibe that Dats is looking to have a hands-off lim today, I think if things developed naturally the wagon would build on me nice and easily. That this was manufactured suggests to me that Datisi did the kill last night, which lets them coast today a bit, appear more like a disengaged townie possibly or whatever and not eat a bullet in N3.
Honestly the most solid thing I have after thinking on the events of the night.

i think he investigated shea on n1. that would certainly explain why he was like "haha i thought he was scum i am sure glad i don't have to prove it today", after admittedly... not thinking he's scum. i thought the awkwardness was because he was salty his partner died, but uh. it obviously wasn't.
