his push on FL seems fair
, I personally think FL seems more townish, but to be honest its a purely gut read, and I am more suspect of people hard town reading him already at that point.
When reading through, this jumped out. BBmolla's "push" on FL is really no more than a policy lim to eliminate the player that is hardest to read. Then when asked what made the push fair, ZZZX says it's fair because it could be a gutread, but it's unclear how that would make it "fair" or even a believable scumread. I also feel like he's hiding behind his BBmolla nullread a little bit to try and handwave away the sloppiness of this statement in

I personally don't have anybody as high as FL. Those two I can sorta get it, but ducky I don't have a read on at all and wanna get more to read them one way or another which is why I asked ducky first.

I don't think solving for tw today is super important, so the read is more vibes

But I thought about why I townread his progression and specifically other than "vibes~" - I think TL is in a position where people who townlean him are not going to be defending him super hard, and he's also scumread by a few folks iirc. He is not particularly difficult to eliminate today

So is a fairly in-depth read that I think scum would not bother to make at this juncture. They can sit back and be more lazy. And tw closes out the post with "i just have zero interest in trying to take an accurate guess at TL's alignment anymore," which is pretty funny after clearly putting a lot of thought into the slot and also probably comes from town

I agree on that first sentiment. I can see what you mean by that, especially as (currently) low commitment TW.

It started as just a feeling when you were questioning TL - I felt like TL was being weird town, and it seemed a bit like you were pushing him for his weird but not necessarily scummy stances.

Then you had a moment feel like you're pocketing FL by having the same read as him when you started townreading TL in . I call this out specifically because the progression didn't quite make sense to me. Did you start townreading TL between and ? Anyway, I feel like around that time (pg. 14-15), it was mostly FL interrogating TL to get a better read whereas I'm not sure how your questions there were designed to get a better read on him.

The "having the same read as FL" happened again in . You almost feel like a chameleon where you change your stances when FL does

But a couple of other random posts pinged me:
felt strange to me. like up to that point, you pretty clearly townreading FL, so this post seemed performative

I also think posts like are how scum are likely to position around a TL lim. As in you don't want to be pushing a policy lim, but you aren't going to step in to stop it from happening either

holistically it ends up south of null for me

don't exactly agree that tw's tl profile is much of a towntell. scum with decent intuitions about what makes someone look town (and tw probably has those) can fake the sort of diffidence on display there. and i honestly raised an eyebrow or two when they seemed to imply that they frequently agree with things TL says. can't even count how many times i've had to keep myself from quotereplying a TL post with something like "???"

I think your catch up is more likely to come from scum in the sense that you only commented on things that happened 40+ pages ago (aside from some fluff posts), and merlyn was scummy

i feel that lol. tl is also a really bad starting point if you're not feeling strongly

i get tl's playstyle in general, i think the feeling i'm settling on is that if tl is scum, they are not the member of the team who is intended to come out of d1 looking particularly towny - they're in chaos / attack mode, not playing a long game

in my heart of hearts i can't bring myself to townread tl outright, but i think they're a fairly bad yeet right now

do you have many reads cooking atp?
I think we are on the same page in regards to TL.

My reads are a work in progress tbh, I am not the type to sub into a large with 50+ pages and catch up from the beginning, so I am trying to play in real time.
no worries, I feel like I'm in limbo a bit too and think talking to y'all has helped me get my reads down much more than reading

It's nice to see someone else who's finding Klazam just like, very towny. Also dig the hard townread on RN.

Actually I like this list a bunch
