also it's not even accurate to say i've only been criticizing play i don't like

for example, my convo with jackson earlier was plain scrutiny and provided information useful for sorting (they committed to an explanation for not including a vote in their "guilty"). when i flip town, it'll be urgently important to be sure the reason why is not that jackson did what they thought was a clever fakeclaim. the hedging around the strength of their guilty is the best reason for doubting their claim and is better clarified sooner rather than later.

another example -- i clarified my bbmolla read. bbmolla's positioning around jackson's guilty is potentially significant because of how consistently i've pushed him and because I claimed a shot at him. on the other hand, this pushing has been ineffectual and is easy to not interpret as a threat. still, bbmolla had the opportunity to discredit my complex claim and say he's not vanilla, locking in my fate. yes, my eventual flip might cast doubt on a non-vanilla fakeclaim, but that would be easy to dismiss. More importantly, the actual text of the vanilla claim is *convincing* and the corresponding shift away from me (even if he's quote-agreed that i'm scum in another post) doesn't seem like a contrived trajectory. his reply to my last q for him kind of seals the deal for me and i hope others.

I think my "whining" has similarly pushed many others to dig into and elaborate their stances surrounding hu tao and me, which will make our flips way more interpretable when they happen.
