I think that is assuming mala knows and understands the setup, and realizes that trying to trust fall me early would cause people to sus her. I'm not sure I'm willing to assume all that in order to townread her

I think she'd be more likely to understand that as scum when her win condition relies on that understanding.
But like there's a reason I'm not outright trusting her myself. I still think Mala!scum is open as a valid answer, I just think there's also reason to doubt it
I understand. I guess I'm looking at it as low risk/high reward. If it fails I don't think it's the end of the world for scum!mala, and if it succeeded then scum have a huge advantage right out of the gate

I still feel like mala and Merlyn are kinda scummy for being the first to throw out a trust, even when I take personalities into consideration
Merlyn less so I guess because hers seemed like a test to sort me coming out of it
There is a tin foil thought that you and Mala are scum and this was done to clear you. But most of the rest of my brain just says that is general Mafia paranoia lol.
But either way I do agree it is scummy of Mala, and even basically spent most of the pre trust fall period trying to butter you up.
well yeah, I had the same thought, that's why I decided to find out
I don't really feel like playing super conservatively in this game btw the way. Unless someone smarter comes in and tells me some mech strats I'm overlooking, this is just a vibes game in my mind. Anybody I think might be town, I'm going to offer to trust. Anybody offers to me and I think they're town I'm taking it and getting outta here, thats the point
I mean tbf saying that I have only been buttering black up all game isn't entirely true
I do have some random reads that have come out of my interactions
so
its a win~
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.
Nope. I got eyes for black only until she's removed from the game~

I don't think she would have closed herself off to the possibility of asking others. If she's scum she's basically taken away one of her own tools and now has to wait for someone to ask her to get out of the game, and given the doubt around her that would be pretty risky
I'm amused that this game would be more balanced in favor of town if there was another scum added and would be less balanced if we added more town
The more members your team has, the worse off you are
That is my question too. We don't have a voting/execution mechanic to work with, all we have is the trusts.
I could assume that everyone who's been trusted (Black, Drew, Klick) is either town or scum with whoever trusted them, which actually might clear Drew due to a line of logic that my brain is not yet awake enough to verify or explain coherently (update on that later). I don't know if I like that assumption though.
Black is basically confirmed and Klick reads town to me anyway though.
I townread Alianna.

On hiatus from playing mafia.
We all agree that Black is the towniest, why don't we ask her to choose two folks to trust fall. She can still be wrong but we know that she won't be actively working against us
