Who, if anyone else, are you also reading as scummy? What is the most probable scum team?

My current best scumreads are on Bug and Gumi since they’ve been so quiet. Blackstar makes me feel suspicious since they seem to be really keen to move the main wagon onto me, but I’m still unsure about whether that’s just plain desperation or an actual scumread on me.

I’m more confident in my townreads, especially Black, Hu Tao, and Dann. They seem to have a lot of logical thoughts and communicate them really well, which I feel would be hard for scum to do so consistently.

so, you think that scum are more likely to be inactive than town? That's not been my experience, it's pretty NAI to me. What are your reads on some of the more active players?

I'm very patient. Do you think asking people who they think are scummy is a better way to find scum than reading and trying to find things yourself?

In a word, yes.

It is easier for me to have a conversatiion in the moment than to wade through 16 pages of stuff. I am more interested in what people think *right now* than what they might have been thinking in the past.

I'm okay with this, I think it's valid scumhunting technique to ask other what they think and then analyze the response. The only thing that pings me about Charles is the series of questions before this where he was like "Hey XX, do you think I'm scummy? How about you, ZZ?"

im into it, his initial post stinks of scum jumping in with a false town bravado, we must stick together, we are town, we need to eliminate the scum trash.....and now he is conviniently quiet. Which plays into the theory of scum coasting /lurking while Town beats itself up and gets voted out and NK'd. My vote stays until we start to hear from Charlie boy.

Well he has re-appeared and has started to take part in the game, I see his read list and well he has 3 town, which includes the IC, and the rest are null or scum.

So not sure what to think

. Do I take his explaination for his reentry questions into the game? Asking people if they believe him scummy or not, it seems a strange tactic but he explains that also.

But its just that openning post. I know that I am the only vote sitting next to him, and as I see above, Black is called out for the negative comments on Charles and there was all the "why is no one else in Charle's face" posts, but nothing else. So, currently I will leave my vote where it is for now.

Charles, Right now I continue to feel that Charles is scum. His intial opening post followed by his earlier interaction and now his reentry in the game all stick with me. Maybe I am focusing too much on this, Im not sure. But his AI inhanced opener speakes of regular communication team work amongst other things. I havent seen that, I haven't seen him commit to anything he covered in that opening post. And that includes trying to find Scum. After his re-entry his posts seem forced, could it be nerves? or the fact he just is having trouble with being in the game, or is he being pushed to be more active and didnt kow what to lead with?

If me dying helps the town to come together and narrow down who the scum team is, then maybe it's a valid option. I've pushed Wiz and Charles but I've started to doubt my scum reads of them a little bit. I think Afrayed is town and the arguments for Bug haven't been that strong. Sof if we HAVE to lim someone, I guess I'm a decent choice because it would force you all to analyze everyone's reasons for joining the wagon. I would prefer to stay alive though

It is also to do with the slots initial game play before the sub. So yes my opinion is changing and I would agree with Bob's reasoning concerning my wagon.

1494 is a fake post. There's no way Dannflor read over a game, decided it was enough to make BlackStar town, and then couldn't remember which game he read over when asked to talk about it. Bluebug is scummy but I was tunneling around the not-voting thing a bit too much. Fundamentally there isn't much of a difference between not-voting and being off the main wagon.
