You know how I feel about meta so why would I blindly believe your weak meta read on OWER? You even said yourself you could be wrong. Like what?

Didn't you already use meta as a reason to go from scumreading THS to townreading them this game? Feels like a weird take

Obviously this doesn't mean much since I think good players can mimic their town game as scum, but I felt like pointing it out

I will use meta but I usually don't let it be the basis of my read. Shea asked me to believe his meta read on OWER and I think it's going to take more than a meta read to get me to change my mind here

I feel like scum have probably wormed their way into one of the AtEfests at this point but I think even more so that there's scum just sitting on the sidelines and letting town implode

Yeah I tend to have trouble following some of the back and forths that occur at times, especially when they're still going on live. I usually am able to generate analysis in the aftermath if I feel like it or if I feel it's necessary to do so (i.e, the interaction changed my read on something)

OWER- A slot that I kind of town leaned based on vibes day 1 and then zoned out from my head. Reading back through day 1 votes on Wartortle, I came out thinking their vote felt the worst out of those on the front end of that wagon due to their 556 vote feeling more on the sheepy side (it was essentially restating the original case) and then a lack of followup on that vote afterwards. Warrants a deeper look

usesPython- Kind of zoned the slot out this day phase, so want to reread there. Might also be good to reread day 1 to see if it helps clarify my read there

Blackstar- A slot that I haven't really paid much attention to in general. Hoping to get a more concrete read on the slot upon reread.

Kinda have this gut feeling that this is a losing gamestate. All the fights feel TvT and every time we push on the lurkers they give decent responses but there's also 0 town cohesion and half the playerlist is off doing their own thing

: While I can’t just blindly base everything on my initial mindmeld with Black, I think ignoring my strong feelings on her being town is foolish. I think her behavior in the argument was weird, but the rest of her game so far tracks with how she was in our previous one. She drops a tier, but I still find her far more likely to be a townie compared to Shea.

I feel confident in townleaning him for that reason, though I can’t say I agree with a good amount of his reads (which is worrying, to be honest). Quick note: he said in his previous game that he would imagine himself likely to bus his scummates, so consider that if a flip goes wild.

: I’ve found it near impossible to get a solid read on him for a good amount of the game (his pushes and solving nudged him up a tier for a while there). However, that lack of a solid read means I have to imagine him to be the scum in that argument—I just don’t have a detailed enough case to push him to the bottom tier, though.

: Her silence feels deafening to me—unlike, say, OWER, she has been reluctant to share her thoughts or interact on other people’s terms. I find the lack of cooperation has made my read on her deteriorate over the course of the game, and I worry she’ll continue to sit on the backburner for the town until it’s too late.

The problem with Hu Tao is that she lurks even as a town. I have played with town!Hu and she was not much of presence at all.
I dont get much of trying to solve feeling from Hu in this game, though. So i dont know what to think.

I was scum in my last game and he caught onto me early and would not let go—he was a townie we wanted to eliminate ASAP for that reason.

What's the Smiley/THS case?

Smiley feels like he’s trying to solve and like he asks good questions with good analysis posted after—I’ve not really had too much reason to suspect him aside from mostly being quieter, but he still is actively trying to contribute to the game (just not as often as some other players).

THS seems like just like a townie that’s getting burnt a lot more than the rest of us—I’d like to see a bit more solving efforts from him (which is why he’s fallen slightly in my readslist), but the townie vibes are certainly there. Definitely more of an intuition-based read here.

The way that Black was willing to reconsider her read on Roden felt townie to me. She could've kept pushing for his wagon to go through but she was able to take a step back and reconsider things
