most of the playerlist has already pinged me one way or another, this is an easy game

as town won 5 games | lost 6 games | mislimd 3 times | dayvigged once | nightkilled 3 times | vengekilled once | survived 3 times
as scum won 5 games | lost 1 game | eliminated twice | dayvigged once | vigged once | survived once | perfect scum victory once
and if you count large normal 204 then i won that game after replacing out as scum
Sorry I am only responding to a select few posts - I don't really have time to read the entire thread so I am just commenting on whatever catches my eye

I think based on everyone in the game appearing in the votecount, everyone has a vote.
It is more likely that either there is a role making the number to eliminate lower, or something is making us perceive it as such. The rules say a majority is needed for an execution but the votecounts talk about chomping on dust
I'm pretty sure that's how Skygazer does VC's in all her games tbh - she always gives funny flavor to executions.
This puts a bad taste in my mouth because I feel like this both rewards
Wheme
for acting rashly and that these townreads are likely not all uninformed.
I disagree because:
1. A read is not a "reward", it's what I think about a person. This is like saying that if somebody who's known for high-efforting as scum plays a low-effort game I'm "rewarding" them for low effort by townreading them. It's silly.
2. Why do you think it's informed? I mean I don't have meta on scum!Wheme so maybe I'm wrong, but to me it seems very unlikely that scum!them would act with such rash / goofy behavior in a way that draws a lot of attention. How is that not a valid read?

I think the order threat board could definitely be controlled by the mod, but might just be a passive mechanic that has no actual mod discretion to it

Yeah, but sometimes people are going to feel like playing in that 'silly' way anyway, like they expect to be able to bend others' playstyle to their liking through rewards and punishments in their reads.
(Yeah, I'm still grumpy about T-Bone voting me in ELO instead of scumDrew as punishment for suspecting him as the partner due to him screwing around all day talking about voting Save The Dragons for not doing much of anything despite T-Bone having already called Drew confirmed scum. )
I understand your saltiness even though I have no clue what game this refers to
I don't understand what you're asking of me. I haven't found a question I thought was meaningful because I never said a read Watney viable. I just said that multiple townreads on a slot are easy to come from an informed perspective to create a flow with the playerlist. I wanted to hear from each of you 3
jjh/ice/bianco
individually to form an opinion of how you each feel about your stance to try and get a read on you.

hmm
i have conflicting thoughts about wesley and i cannot voice half of them right now i think
they are also the player i most want to push when disregarding those thoughts that i do not want to voice yet so

i am trying to evaluate if i should voice them or not
but
i have insights from my own role that if revealed could force wesley to claim more then they seem to want to about their own
maybe
i am not entirely sure what those insights suggest

You're lying, some of you are oranges and I think you're an orange apple.

The best way to read Wheme is that his scumgame is extremely deliberate and he does things he believes will advance his win condition. Town wheme does whatever he wants to and takes whatever action he thinks is correct, but is a lot easier to sway and more amenable to engage with logical arguments. On a really surface level, scum!Wheme might see an argument that conflicts with what he is saying or doing, and acknowledge it but just say nah I don't agree. Town!Wheme will see the same argument, and even if he disagrees I think he acknowledges the argument in some light at least.
On a more advanced level, Whemestar is essentially a prime example of where my main townhunting methodology works best because in psychological terms, when town!wheme gives up some ground in an argument it is almost always informational and not normative influence that is the cause. I've played a lot of games with Wheme at this point so I've got a lot of familiarity there, and then I also think he's probably one of the more transparent players when you're looking at this anyway.
Which posts of WhemeStar's did you read as indicating he was actually engaging with your arguments on more than a surface level?

If I keep explaining this in excrutiating detail Wheme will eventually learn how to do it as scum. I said everything I needed to and more in that post.
Don't try and look at individual posts. It's about his attitude, which cannot be summarised by quoting posts but can be experienced by interacting with him.
