Basically, I have played and modded a whole lot of games with Naerys, and I think I know her pretty well. Her thought processes, read trajectories, reaction to pressure and even the vote on Katsuki for posting a dead pokemon all feel like how she plays town normally. Can it be faked by scum!her? Maybe, but I saw no reason to believe that considering that so far TRing her for these things had worked pretty well for me.In post 1062, Black wrote:

From reading the last page only I wanna VOTE: dave
And my vote on dave (I saw someone questioning it) is because he put a very unjustified vote on Naerys close to deadline in a way that screamed "this is the compromise wagon, all aboard the compromise wagon" which I didn't particularly find towny. Like it took less than a page since his vote to put her in E-1. That's scummy.

Why exactly am I at E-2? For not survivalistically jumping on Naerys yesterday when I was the counterwagon for most of the day?-

This is not aimed at me, but ngl I feel this is a subconscious bias for me. I try to fight it, and if someone just mildly scumreads me it doesn't affect my read of them, but when someone is relentlessly trying to get me hanged I can't really townread them much.In post 1105, JacksonVirgo wrote: Just a quick question to understand you better, and this is not meant to get under your skin or to shade you in any way, but do you tend to town-read people easier if they're agreeing with you? I also don't think Gamma was saying that Naerys got blitz wagoned because of the claim, so I'm not sure of the relevancy?-

Feels like he could be doing that so you or Gamma took the fall if Naerys/Kyouko flipped town? That might be tinfoil tbh though, just got a weird vibe from those posts.-

Yeah it's a bias for me as well, I just figured perhaps if Black also is affected by this it could explain some of her motivations that I'm seeing but assuming her town if it isn't then perhaps it's affecting her more than she realises, or just pure coincidence? In post 1136, KittyTacky wrote:

I didn't like Gamma's post because to me it felt like she was trying to justify not being on the Naerys wagon after I suggested there was at least one scum off the wagon. I didn't like the reasoning because Gamma thought Naerys was town for most of D1 yet she didn't do anything to combat the wagon from growing. Saying "I thought the claim was townie but I didn't say anything because I couldn't figure out a rhyme for it" pings meIn post 1139, Thomith wrote:

He name dropped Gamma and I because you said you wanted sheep a townread and he wasn't sure which townread you were sheeping. Or at least that's how I'm seeing itIn post 1140, Thomith wrote:

I actually think the bluntness of it and how up front he was about trying to form a wagon with you is probably +town for him-

What exactly are you seeing? I've scumread people that agree with me/townread me and I've townread people that disagree with me/scumread me. I'm familiar with the bias but I'd like to think it doesn't affect me too muchIn post 1141, JacksonVirgo wrote:

I'm more aware of my own slot so I am seeing this with your read on me more than anything else but again that Naerys read feels a little out of place even now, but I stated a very clear scum-read on you of which you scum-read me, I let go of my push for a moment and then so did you. I was tempted to jump into today with a full push on you to see if it corroborated my loose theory but I decided against it and opted to just ask you directly.-

I try to look at the reasons for why people do what they do
In your case I didn't think your scumread on me made much sense but that is only a small part of why I think you could be scum
In Naerys's case, she started dropping in my reads before she ever disagreed with me
I do think it's more of a case by case basis and there are usually other factors involved in the read, but yeah I think someone scumreading me for what I consider to be bad reasons is going to make me raise an eyebrow. But I also get suspicious of people agreeing with me too much, so it really just depends on context and other things-

The issue with the Naerys wagon for me is while it was easy to jump onto, i can 100% see the reason why town would join it.
I think I need to go back and look at the context that everyone jumped on the wagon with.
