Urgh, momentum died since I think everyone got exhausted from the Great Docclaim Wars of 2024. Makes it hard to distinguish scum staying back vs apathy. Soft clear to Enchant and Comical for now. I like PoP's and HT's reactions overall, Delta the same, Gypyx feels scummier to me from that. Also have to reread HT soon to make sure I'm not pocketed.

Yeah, Enchant & Comical came out of this mess looking good. Definitely wasn't the most efficient and sanity-maintaining way to do it, but it got us there.

I think Delta looks worse, but she was already hanging out on my scumlist so I've got some bias there.

PoP seemed legit, but I reallllly don't like 1818.

It was tongue in cheek asking for votes, because I think Comical is scum. Although I do also happen to think that even if he's town, we have a higher chance of winning with him dead.

this is a really tough game to be your first one with the chaos on D2 after a really fun D1

rest assured most games are less chaotic (even if the chaos is pretty fun sometimes in retrospect)

I assumed Comical was going to talk about it because he pointed it out, but the fact that he hasn't makes me doubt that it was important to him, which therefore makes me doubt that solving the game and finding out who is mafia is important to him. Which is evident already by how much priority he places on warping the game around himself over actually doing useful town things, but still.

1748 on the surface is a relatively standard perspective slip. I may be tunneled in my townread to not see it as particularly damning, but I do think it's understandable for town to make that post. Still, it is saying that scum knew there wasn't scum in Comical/Lap, and so therefore the gambit was useless. Which is an excellent point if it's true. The problem is that she shouldn't know whether it's true or not, and she states it as if she does.

The main problem with today is that there still isn't a clear consensus about who is scum. My concern is that people will vote for me because "oh the day ends tomorrow and we have to lim somebody" which will be a good excuse when I flip town. And that's what we're going to do into D3 with, no clear scumreads and a townie flip with plausible deniability for those on the wagon. ("Oh I went with the gambit", "Oh we had to lim somebody, too bad it was a townie", etc etc.) It's not a position I'd like to be in and I would like to be here at least into D3.

No Lim is actually better than just "I had to vote because of the deadline" no-accountability votes.

Assuming Town!Comical, scum would have been well aware that Comical was a townie pulling some kind of gambit. They would have definitely avoided interacting with the gambit and that's where we would find the scum.
