It absolutely does. If Margot is town then she doesn't know Ausuka's alignment. Why would she not vote for the wagon that gives her the best chance to survive?

The correct play would be to try to push a different wagon but if she's not going to do that then the survival vote is the next best thing

If she doesn't think any of the other wagons would get enough support so close to the deadline then the Ausuka vote makes sense

As I said in the post in question, I was incredibly ill, didn't have the energy at the time to do very much of anything, emotions were high, and given that I was ill and felt even less sure in my capacity to read than usual, I acted based on the one thing that I knew for certain.
