Yeah, I had checked this. Just wanted to know if there's a full numbered list of possible roles. I made one in preparation for the game, but I'm concerned I've missed something.

Regardless, I'm curious to see what the remaining players who haven't commented think about this

Roleblockers tend to hit quiet slots and crumbers. If you want to roleblock a slot that's been too townie, you usually do so by killing them.

If I am killed off for a strange reaction to kills, then that’s on me and I’m sorry I hurt town like that. I am Vanilla Town, I knew I’d be fighting an uphill battle today, since VT is the obvious claim of mafia.

I reacted like that to the kills because from what I’d seen, I thought mafia had killed Hu Tao, thus (in my mind) town vigilante had killed NM. I’d not played before in a game with a Serial Killer, so that was my confusion.

I am confused on why JV chose to investigate me, either he’s town and thought that my slot was a bit off, or he’s scum and thought I’d be an easy target (which it seems I might just be). JV seems to be getting his life that he didn’t get blocked at all, which seems like a town move since after I’m executed, it’d be obvious his investigation was off.

Assuming JV is then town, what kind of things could have messed up his investigation? My role is complete vanilla, so it must have been an outside source.

I can say honestly I totally didn’t expect to have an accusation on me right away, so I’m a bit flustered. That said, I want town to win so I appreciate those not hammering me immediately and giving me time to speak.

Jacob, some advice for you if you are town:

It would be better for you to die giving your insight into your thoughts on the players of this game than to die protesting your innocence and speculating on how a result is wrong.

If you're town, make yourself useful. This is the only way that you will survive today with a redcheck from a town-read player.

If he's actually town and Jackson was roleblocked/lying, that's a totally natural reaction though. He comes in and is on the verge of getting pushed out the door immediately for reasons he knows are false, obviously he's going to be confused and try to figure out what's going on. What kind of insight do you even expect to get from him here when basically everyone is just going "yeah okay let's vote him because guilty"?

I'd like to hear more from Jackson on why he decided to target Jacob's slot.

Yes, that's basically the conclusion I've come to myself. I will inevitably die during this phase, thus I should post my information knowing that it'll be semi-verified upon my death. Issue is - I don't have all that much.

I started going this way in my last post, regarding JacksonVirgo. While I want to say he's scum because of his call on me, it seems like it'd be a dumb play, since his whole argument was that it's a super low chance he'd been blocked, meaning the reasoning could be used right back at him when I'm revealed as a townie.

Roden's post 788 seems somewhat bizarre to me - why wouldn't you block a more trusted townie over a quieter player? Same time though - was JV really that trusted D1? (781)

Black Voted me before JV called out the investigation result on me (729) - which was somewhat explained in 721 but still of note I think. Another note on Black: In post 770 she quoted Not_Mafia's post 382, where he put out his readlist thing from green to red, saying that the SK was someone low on Not_Mafia's list. This list was a troll list though right? With his own name at the bottom?

Argo's conclusions (747) about Not_Mafia's reputation seem like town-like thoughts, pretty logical and not biased. Some questioning which I think is completely reasonable.

I'm unsure about lucca's post 754 - probably doesn't tell us much. lucca in post 758 does recommend waiting to vote until more players log on - appreciated but could be scum blend in technique.

Jake has seemed helpful and asked for JV's full role (761), which I thought was reasonable.

I think it's a bit hasty to put me 1 vote off death right now, but I take responsibility for my screw-up. Hopefully this info is helpful. I'll try to go back further but I did miss a good chunk of the game so far.

Oh, no, don't mistake me giving the transfer student advice on what is considered useful and towny on this site as me expecting insight from the slot before they go out the door.

I'm saying it to inform them for both this game and their games to come.
