I feel i'm partially guilty of this and it's one of my weaknesses as town that I want to improve on at some point. I feel like i'm decent at making cases and probing people in order to sort their intentions, but i'm bad at getting people to follow me.

i think I tend to try to provide my thought process, hope people see it, agree with me and follow my lead. And frustratingly often that tends to result in people ignoring me .

Bald eagle - Haliaeetus leucocephalus

The bald eagle is identifiable by its dark brown feathers, white head, yellow beak and formidable posture. It's actually a sea eagle, but can be found inland near to rivers and lakes. This bird isn't actually bald, but appeared as such to whoever name it due to the striking contrast of its white head with the rest of its body. They have a varied, albeit mostly carnivorous, diet - they like to eat fish, but will often eat on other animals like smaller birds, snakes, and crabs. In 1782, this bird was declared the American national bird, but since then its population has declined harshly, mostly due to human activity. These birds were actually hunted for sport, and American officials would often put bounties upon them. However, nowadays the population size is increasing, and the bird is rated as 'LC' or Least Concern by the IUCN.

Mandarin duck - Aix galericulata

The mandarin duck is colourful. Male mandarin ducks have orange plumes on their cheek and pale orange sides, with red beaks and green stripes on its head. The female mandarin duck has a grey head and brown backs. These birds are quite shy, despite their eye-catching nature. They often hid in shade spots and only form small flocks, and they usually nest within holes in trees. This bird is native to the northeast of Asia, including in China, Japan and Korea, but it has been introduced to the UK and mostly resides in wetlands in Southeast England there.
