You play Magic? I'm thinking about getting into it, maybe a mix of Blue and Green. It's been forever since I last played Magic. I hate that the sets rotate out and you can never use those cards again.

I only Draft, but I am 95% sure Commander is the format for you. Go Google up Commander pre cons (there are a bunch of Fallout themed ones being released this week for example) which are basically 100 card starter decks which are aimed to be played with 3 friends in huge games, but you get to tinker with the deck over time swapping in cards to personalise things for you. Your worries over rotation don't really exist in Commander.
