Ok, I'm back. I've prepered a whole assortment of candies, chocolates and other suggary treats to get me through this. Time to overanalize the game. V/LA status cleared.

I'm still on page 10. This is much harder than I thought it would be. I need to give my brain a break. For now I'll post what I have.

During this re-read of the game, I'm focusing on getting associetive reads leading from followers to Kira. My top Kira-read using this method is Cuddle. As much as I like their posts (mainly Dragon and Thomith), there's just so many people who could be their followers: Dan, Drew, Erinys, Gimli, Klick, Rat and Tao.

There's no one who's got even close to 7 potential followers. But there's many people with exactly 3 "non-followers". This is my "non-Kira" list:

• Drew (Aureal, Klick, Rat).
  
• Erinys (Cuddle, Dan, Klick).
  
• Gimli (Aureal, Cuddle, Erinys).
  
• Tao (Aureal, Cuddle, Dan).

These four could be of either alignment, but I don't think they are Kira.

Keep in mind that this is only up to page 10. I'll continue with this train of reasoning later.

Uh, can you elaborate on what this means? I don't understand where you're going with this at all since there's precisely 2 followers of Kira. Like, if you're ruling out Kiras because there's not even 2 people who could be their followers (which I think it's probably too early to say here regardless) then there's still a huge gulf between 3 non-followers and 7. At most the people who have the most non-followers are just somewhat less likely to be Kira.

Yes, they are less likery to be Kira. They are in a four-way tie at the bottom of the list, which is why I don't think they are Kira.

Can you elaborate on why Drew can't be Kira with Rat as a follower and why Tao can't be Kira with Dan as a follower.

I do not believe a follower would choose to engage in RVS banter with Kira.

@black: Seems to me the main problem was the way you phrased it differently than your intent. I happen to agree those 3 posts in succession merit questioning. But leaving it as 'lookie here, surely there's a bad un in this batch of apples' isn't saying anything much on the surface. T-bone has said his piece about the dissonance of the klick read whiplash (if I'm understanding correctly) which was warranted before extra fuel to the fire was added.

I am now curious about the HPE and Hu tao's reasons.

Dan's response to the three bad-reason votes on Cuddles (from Tao, Erinys and T-Bone) was to defend T-Bone, but suspect Erinys and Tao. I do not believe Erinys or Tao could be Dan's Kira.

honest, I kinda sheeped Erinys a little bit.

Out of the four current wagons, Gimli is the only one I'm unwilling to vote on.

I think if Erinys was a follower it would either back down from Dan or counter claim him. The fact it's pushing him without a counter claim suggests it's just a regular taskforce member who really believes Dan is scum.

I think ActionDan makes no sense as a Follower, because realistically what he has done if he's Follower is 1. move the vote onto someone else other than him, a not-Kira, and 2. drawn the Kira kill towards a Follower instead of the Detective. It doesn't match his alignment's needs if he's scum. It does a lot more for an Assistant.

Dan not being a follower is a certainty. He was killed by the Death Note, so his visible name was actually real.

Are these three your Kira suspects? On 571 you gave a non-Kira list that had Gimli and Drew(aka Freedom) as a non-Kira and what changed for you to put Gimli and Freedom in the poe of being Kira?

As the detective leading the investigation, I have an announcement to make: Aureal is, without a shadow of a doubt, a follower of Kira.

Thus, it is my "professional" opinion that we should start considering Radical Rat as our prime suspect in the Kira investigation.

I quick skimmed aureal and I think this clears HPE (god bless you HPE for always looking like scum in all games)
it clears cuddles as well

I'd say that both kira followers voting me at different times on d1 clears me, but I'll let the other players come to that conclusion themselves, just something to note ig

Hold your horses, we don't know if Hu Tao was a follower. Radical Rat is my prime suspect, so they could be lying about Check Out result.

Specially since Kira knows which skills are not in play!

I do think gob ends the game here but I have a maybe better idea

we can flip aureal this gameday and check the veracity of RR's claim. if RR has lied for some reason, then killing aureal will not give us the announcement that both followers are dead. we'll know for certain RR is either a follower and kira, and we kill them next.
