This is so random. I honestly don't care much about this game anymore, and don't think putting in an effort would change anything anyways. Just lynch veerus for an idle afternoon followed by some of our other suspects and maybe with like 8 remaining we could start actually scumhunting.

Yeah. ani was the most obvious scum ever once he started trying to defend himself, but there isn't much hope for serious scumhunting the way this is going. Town's suffering from limited word use, limited activity and limited attention span. I still have a mild scumread on FL, but have sorta lost faith in convincing anyone.

That's it, folks, this game is done. Apologies to all of you who have invested effort into the game, but I don't feel the game can continue after 4 players are modkilled out of the blue.

Sorry Sens for this lurkfest.

The concept looked good in the beginning, but the word restriction, a) made people too scared to make a "too long" post and b) made the town unable to do any kind of real scumhunting.

I still think that ortolan is scum.

I don't know it was optimal play- veerus was going to get lynched partly for it and even if u had ridden the wagon successfully all you would have accomplished is lynching a vanilla townie and looking somewhat scummier into the bargain.

The number of players in this game was one of the major reasons we had little activity IMO. I've never understood how you're supposed to get 13 people to wagon on someone who isn't, well, ani. And more players mean more people CAN lurk with relative impunity (I know I did it, and didn't feel bad until seven pages went by because I didn't feel I had much to add and there were plenty of people who did).

The across-the-board post restriction idea was fine, at least until stuff happened to the mods and the players couldn't stay up-to-date about vote and word counts. Not reading text walls was a relief, I will admit.

I was a Vanilla Townie. I doubt I convinced anyone of anything otherwise, but eh.
Also, the ortolan wagon was retarded to begin with. <_<
