So WW - no result on night 2? (You don't have to reveal the result already, just answer yes or no)

Hm?
What about MeMe?
Well, not exactly cool beans, but not evil.
I'm just not saying exactly what was in the pm thats all.
Yup, there was another one I know.

I figured I remembered who it was, but I wasn't sure, so didn't post about it. It's not in my pm box, but in file.
But you have the order mixy.
N1 Is the one I wasn't sure on, so didn't tell you, and N2 I still have and told you.
I didn't tell you because I wanted to wait till I was sure.
But if wacky says not to reveal etc, then I wont.
The I don't really know why not...well I could reveal that just before night.
That would be good right? Give evil a potential scramble?
What is the point of using foul language, downright rudeness, slurs, etc on a gaming site? This is really distasteful.

A player's night action succeeds on the night he/she dies unless there is some other reason for the action to fail; notably, an information role performing an investigation will receive a result.
What I find surprising is that willows investigated PB the night she got killed.

The reason I think revealing your investigations might be a bad idea is that the mafia in the other game probably can't kill you in this one, so you can risk leaving it to later BUT if you do reveal, that person has a very good chance of dying.

But you're right. because while I was typing this I realised that you already revealed one person, and your other investigation might get lynched. heh.

But the reason why I'm voting for nanook is simple - PB has said he got blocked the night there was no kill, and atm, there's no reason to doubt PB, and by a process of elimination, the only std. role that fits is mafia.

Thank you for the clarification.

But the last part is confusing...

Anyway, I'm not going to be voting for Nanook unless we get desperate because there could have been a doc protect or a missed choice. I'll try to look back over the Town days in a little bit.

I need to go to sleep...I just thought I saw my avatar change as if it were animated...

WW we are waiting for Nanook primarily.

The day was so long last night looks like I didn't submit a block- so I apologize to the town for that slip up. Won't happen again.

Will from now on submit block as soon as day ends so I don't forget to do so again.

That'd be a good idea pb, as long as you don't block vig, sk killing mafia, doc, another role blocker, other useful roles in this situation.

What are you guys waiting to hear from me? .. I've already claimed my role, unless of course you want my name and such and who i've targetted. I guess with me being so close to a lynch, I can do that.

N1 The silent speaker
N2 Willows Weep

... as for name and such my pm basically just said that I have the ability to block. Didn't mention any names and special descriptions and such. It did mention a special twist about my role though, but of course Norinel didn't say what it was.

1. You have 1 vote. From me, actually, and not because I investigated you or anything.

2. Two roleblockers does seem strange. Especially if one has a "twist".

3.
NanookTheWolf wrote:Honestly I couldn't tell you whether or not my action worked ... I assume it did because I didn't get a message from the mod or anything saying otherwise.

UnFOS: Nanook

How did you think this one up. He said this during a village day!
I'd expect those comments of his refer to his town and village role respectively.

Yeah, I was blocked, it didn't work, lets lynch MMCL (WIFOM)(Town Day 2)
Honestly, I don't know if it worked! (Town Day 3)

I think you're mistaken.

Notice how it's also quiet - deadly quiet, people. Mafia are all waiting for something better to come up, (or trying to figure out whether to kill me or not, because it might or might not ruin their chances in the other game [remember that?])

So I'd like to make a brief synopsis of what I recall about the Town situation, because it's awfully difficult to keep track of what's happened. I expect there are errors in this and I know there are holes, please correct/fill them.

Nanook - claimed roleblocker, targeted tss, w_w
PeaceBringer - claimed roleblocked Night 2, in contradiction to Nanook's targeting
w_w - claimed cop, I actually did reread this part and I can't tell if she's claiming a regular cop or a weird cop who gets results for the Village. I'd assume the former, but all her posts seem like they've gone through Babelfish on their way here. Investigative results are thus uncertain to me, but I think she has suggested that she did receive results Night 2.

Now, I can see three reasonable explanations. First, Nanook is scum. Second, a second roleblocker exists and w_w wasn't blocked Night 2 for one of a number of other reasons. Third, a target swapper exists, swapping Nanook with someone who targeted PeaceBringer Night 2. I'd discount this third possibility, largely because Norinel appears to be taking his roles directly from commercially-available decks, and I don't think I've ever seen one of those with a target swapper. That argument, though, also works against Nanook's claim that his role has a "twist" that Norinel didn't tell him about.

On the basis of the above, I'm ready to vote Nanook, but I'd like to give people the opportunity to correct my facts, where appropriate, first.
It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.

I think W_W is a cop for the village, and Nanook a roleblocker in the town.

A vote count would be good.
