It is extraordinary to me that someone like Empking is drawing more attention than players like neko, like orangepenguin, like Rogue Shenanigans (if you asked me to call a scumgroup right now - this is for bragging rights in case I end up right later. )

First, Farside proposes a plan. However, she fairly quickly packs up and moves on. Her explanation is that no one responded - you claim that she didn't give them enough time. So far, so good - farside's quick move on is possibly mildly suspicious, perhaps because she realised it would help town too much or w/e. I don't put much stock in it, but it's still at this point a valid line of questioning.

Then there's the fact that she flippantly says that she gave people twelve hours, then amends this to eight. Frankly, this is not scummy. There is nothing wrong with not checking the exact times before posting. She gains little from adding four hours to the time, despite your claim that "it makes you look bad." Four hours is not a significant difference, and the (by far) most likely scenario is that she just said what she thought it approximately was and then corrected herself later.

Then you claim she lies again - actually, this is a misunderstanding. When she is talking about Friday, she is talking about the first time she mentioned the idea - not the first time that she suggested 12 hours, as you seem to believe.

So the basis for your "repeated lies" claim is one massive misunderstanding on your part and one minor contradiction.

The next idea you have (that she broke the rules and therefore the fact that she wasn't modkilled indicates she is scum) is so ludicrous as to beggar belief. One of the game rules is to bold votes. Do you believe that anyone who does not bold votes should be modkilled? Would you modkill for that if you were mod? Farside's infraction is a tiny one - minor at best - and shaft.ed comes in and clarifies anyway. In fact, I don't even understand the rule about small text at all, but that's an entirely different issue: I know the reasoning for it is to stop the encoding or the hiding of information, and it is pretty clear that this was not farside's intention. Shaft.ed's reaction is consistent with what is clearly a technical infringement of the rules - but not anything serious. This is basically what shaft.ed says in his clarification post.

You then state in your case that farside appealed to emotions. That post you quoted is not an appeal to emotions. It is a rhetorical question - a device meant to ridicule what you are saying by pointing out flaws, because the answer to those questions contradicts your position. That's not an appeal to emotion. It is, perhaps, style over substance, but there's no way it's scummy.

Your final attack on farside is that she insulted you. Frankly, I'm not surprised. Empking, listen to me. Your case is rubbish. It contains, like, half a relevant point. It has cluttered up the beginning of the thread something wicked. It has brought up a shitwagon against you. There is no way any of the things you talked about are indicative of her being scum. Your explanation of why she would do it as scum is unconvincing - to me, it is far less likely than the explanation which makes it a nulltell, i.e that farside was just careless. Your posts are incoherent and tunnel-visioned. Farside is still, to me, a neutral read - just as likely to be scum as anyone else. Probably somewhat less likely than you, to tell the truth. I still think that Emps attitude of disagreeing with everyone and plugging his ears to what everyone says is anti town. He expected me to know his time schedual on Friday when if you look just in this game you see all day Friday he was here to bitch. So no not every Friday is the same thing for him to be here or not. He blantly ignored by question about what he did on Friday that prevented him from being here. To not answering a question on what he considers an Ad Hom. Added to the fact he is calling my sarcasm harmful when he did the same thing by asking the Mod if he was human (seriously if that was not a joke I say seek help). So I doubt Emp is innocent. LOL. I didn't technically lie. I said I didn't think I played with him. His name did seem familiar. Now I know why. I was wondering (in another game) where I played with populartajo before. Eh, I guess I just blocked that game out.

If you even read my play during that game, you can see that I was not committed at all, and I didn't pay attention to anything. I hated that game- I just found it so boring, and really regreted signing up. I basically lurked, talked when necessary, and didn't do a good job. I just had the unlucky fortune of also being scum during that game.

During that game, I only voted Empking because my partner told me too, and I ended up being lynched as a result. Obviously, he wasn't scum that game. I don't remember much from his performance, but I think RR chose him because he was an easy target, and I just went along with him, just cause I didn't care less, and got lynched for it. It think it's funny that the three of us played in the same game before. (even though I've played with you, farside, several other times, and like your signature suggests, I still have no "meta" on you)

But like I said, I didn't notice him at all, besides jumping on someone before the eventual lynch, that way, I wasn't on the townie wagon, and then following up on my vote the next day. I still don't understand how that got me lynched, but whatever. If I ranked my games, I would list that near the bottom, lol.
