Interesting. #14 seems to have selected the text of the PM and copied that, while you hit the quote button and copied the source text. The result is that the bold of "The Shady Lady" was preserved in your copy while it was lost in his. I'm not sure it means anything though, since the "Shady Lady" text would have been present in your PM whether or not it was a scum or town PM.

Regardless, I don't see any logic that says that this doesn't confirm #14.

Interesting. Mine has the Shady Lady bolded, and is exactly like Yosarian's. Even the name 'Straight G' and 'gangsterlicious pimp.' We have the exact same name.

Serengeti confirms as well. This means we either have #14 yosarian and Serengeti on the same scum team (unlikely!), or #14 is a confirmed townie.

I wish we had realized this before and been able to confirm someone who wasn't already a townie in my opinion.

I still have three votes - I know, how absurd,
but at least now in this I can have the final word.
With gleeful abandon like Ulysses leaping 'twixt boat,
I shall jump in air, and cry
unvote.

Thank jesus. This is almost as bad as the PR I'm currently enduring in another (ongoing) game, where I have to alliterate and use a metaphor in EVERY POST.

Actually, you're still at 3 votes. StrangerCoug voted you.

Also, bull. Why would you vote yourself and then immediately quoting "This Vicious Cabaret" instead of writing your own rhymes like just recently? The PM looks believable due to the vanilla ice reference, but not very strong evidence and it's that's the only thing keeping me from believing you entirely. Your behavior is not consistent with this claim.

Alright, I know that no one has to believe me at this point, but my PM matches that of #14, and Yos and PoS both seemed truthful in their attempts to confirm #14's towniness. For me, and for assumably one other person, this narrows the Mason Scum list to two people. I know it has to be OP or Lowell and (assuming there's only one) the other townie has it narrowed down to two (myself and the other).

So, I'm going to
unvote
and
vote: lowell
for his part in the same thing I was voting litral for (the forced wagon on #14 back around page 6/7). If we've got a fifty percent chance of getting scum, I'm happy pushing that direction.

Or there's no Scum Masons and the Mafias are laughing their asses off right now.

I'm also going to try to reread OP in isolation to compare him to Lowell.

I said that no one had to believe me. But since I happen to trust Yos & PoS's discussion, and #14 is pretty much confirmed town, I wanted to give the full explanation of my vote changing to lowell.

Also, rofl, seriously. Getting a scum call from you is like getting a lollipop from the bank. I'm not going to feel special; everyone gets one.

Oh, I read it. I see the point. You may have noticed that before that was quoted I had stopped attacking both you and PoS for those reasons. But don't expect a parade. I still disagree with that style, for the exact same reason why I don't trust you now. While your style may eventually trip up a scum, it also alienates the town players you attack in the process. If I'm called scum by a player who can't or chooses not to back it up, I'm less likely to trust that person's scum calls on other players, since I know at least one of them was BS. You can't have it both ways. Either play your way and stop worrying about my opinion of you, or play a different way.

Other than the bold, I don't see any difference, and the reason for the difference of bold I explained in a previous post. Do you see something I don't?

I read it as well, a good read, but only reaffirmed things I already knew about scumhunting. I would love to eventually play with this Glork fellow. Regardless, there are more ways of scumhunting than the ones that he outlined, and I think it is important enough for townies to remain transparent that I always give my reasons for things and fault people if they do not share their reasoning
when prompted

Our flavor is slightly different, with me being "gansterlicious" and him being "bombastic", and with slightly different parts being bolded. I wouldn't assume that necessarally means anything, though, especally since Nat probably designed this game in such a way that quoting role PM's would not break the game, since he put that fairly unusual rule in his ruleset.

Also note, Penguins mentioned her role PM is also "gansterlicious" and has the same bolded parts.

Anyway,
Unvote:Knight of Cydonia
for the moment, I guess. I'd like you to explain your post restiction fully now, and also answer the questions I asked you about your actions in respect to the Penguins wagon, if you please.

Also, Gn, I'm still not sure why you keep assuming #14 is confirmed town. Most likely, if there are any scum-masons, the PM would be the same except for the alignment line (perhaps with the scum buddies listed there, or something), so it'd be pretty easy to take that out and replace it with the townie alignment line from the mod post. I don't really think 14 is scum, but calling him confirmed is a streach.

You are mistaken. I am the one who substituted a bold "bombatastic" with "gangsterlicious" to demonstrate a point. Go back and re-read that post, and #14's original PM post. Also re-read the part where I explain why his is not bold and yours is. Your flavor and his are the same.
