Greetings Brother. In these troubling times, it is most important to protect the Masonry from foul outsiders. Of course, it is also vital we ensure that all our mason brothers can be trusted. What with evildoers lurking among the town and our somewhat dubious initiation rites, it's likely we were too busy quaffing mead to investigate our newest brothers.
I must get my paddle ready for the initiation ceremony, but remember brother; Trust no one.

The Rules
(Stolen from PJ, with Coron's No-Lynch rule)
1
- Remember, it's a game. Have fun.
2
- No talking about this game outside the game thread, except when explicitly allowed by your role PM.
3
- No editing or deleting your own posts or another's posts.
4
- No invisible text or tiny fonts are allowed. I use blue, don't use it.
5
- No mod-quoting. Only paraphrase in your own words.
6
- A lynch requires a 50%+1 (Rounded down) majority vote. A no-lynch requires 50% (Rounded up) of the votes currently in play. If a deadline is reached, no lynch is achieved.
7
- To vote, post a bolded
Vote: Darox
. To unvote, post a bolded
Unvote
. If you are switching votes, an unvote is not necessary.
8
- If you have a request, please use a bolded
Mod:
to preface your request.
9
- Corpses don't talk. Not even a 'Bah' post.
10
- During twilight, everyone may talk until night falls.
11
- Each game day has a three week deadline, each night a 72 hour deadline. Extensions may be granted if the need arises. All deadlines will be temporarily postponed if required for replacements.
12
- If you go 72 hours without a post without prior notice, you will be prodded. Failure to respond to this prod in the game thread will result in replacement.
13
- I reserve the right to edit these rules at any time.
Note - This game may contain any of the following: Cults, Scum Masons, Uninformed Millers, Jesters, and Undefined Sanities.

You all recover from last night in various states of sobriety and regret. Some of you even manage to wake up in a bed.
One of you does not wake, however. As you go to wake him, the first thing you notice is the smell. Then you see the new red paint dripping from the walls. And the ceiling. And the furniture. Then you see rokovoj lying in the middle of the floor. You left pretty quickly after that.

zwetschenwasser wrote:Tarharlindur in MS2 was a self-aligned bad-for-town role. Reecer should explain why he chose to tell us this. BTW, his neutrality makes sense, as my PM giving me my recruition notice said that I was drinking and somehow got tattoed and forced into the mason group, which doesn't sound that angelic to me.
Please note that anything in tags is flavour and does not relate to the game in any way.

Everyone slinks home after a hard's night quaffing mead and carousing at their local Masonry Hall, except those poor souls who sat alone in the Tavern nursing their drinks.
One of you didn't take to his quaffing and carousing very well though. Curious, you go to explore Nightfall's rather fancy place. You find him taking a relaxing bath in his indoor spa. Well, most of him, anyway. His head is sitting on the bathroom sink. Oh dear.
Nightfall
has been killed.
He was a
Black Sun Society Member, Town faction

It is now day 3!
8 alive, 5 to lynch, 4 to no-lynch.

Frustration and bar tabs run high as the town finds itself unable to remove even one evildoer from their midst. Tempers flare and the pressure is starting to show.
However, one has achieved peace in these troubling times. Her body lies still with zen-like calm. Either that or with rigor mortis.
Having shown their true colours, the Mafia wastes no time in overpowering the few remaining townspeople, and paints the streets red. All innocents disposed off, they burn down the Mason halls and set off, the fires of the town illuminating their silhouettes in the darkening sky as they move on to new conquests.
Jahudo has been killed.
RestFermata has been killed.
Max has been killed.
The Mafia faction has won the game!
Mod notes and comments coming soon.

Only Sebguer was in a masonry.
Even assuming everything went right for you, Rest recruited another mafia member and the mafia didn't target you, you would have ended up with an endgame of 1 mafia not in a masonry and you, which would have ended in your death.
If two of them had been in masonries yes, there would have been the possibility of killing them all and ending in scorched earth, but as it stands that was impossible to achieve.

This game rolled out with pretty much the best case scenario for the mafia team, managing to kill all 3 confirmable town roles by night 2.
The mason groups, after getting full recruits day one, managed to not get any further recruits throughout the rest of the game, especially Jahudo, who could have turned things around if he was able to redirect a kill onto one of the mafia.
Biggest regrets would have to be not including a generic mason recruiter PM in the first post, which would have cleared some things up, and also not dividing the night up, making actions resolve before the night ended so new recruits could talk on the same night they were recruited.

Jahudo wrote:Why did the game end? I thought I still had a move. Seb was in a masonry and I could have killed him. Though I'm not sure how that could change the end result, but I assumed the all the scum were masons to begin with.
Actually, it's just occurred to me that there is a one tiny chance you could have still won.
If you and Rest recruited the remaining two mafia members, the mafia killed Max, lynched rest, then tried to kill you with a mafia member that you didn't recruit, and you targeted another member, that would leave you in a 1:1 endgame which would have resulted in victory for you. I didn't even consider this until now and it's a rather unlikely outcome, but I hope you don't feel cheated by me prematurely ending it.
