It's not, I'm just making an analogy to something I've experienced before.

You're the one who said "you have one chance to defend yourself", why would I NOT say what my plan was? As a hider, if one of you is indeed an SK, I can end the game in a draw/...and they lived happily ever after come the end of today if I am guessing right. If one of you was a vig, you should have claimed by now, but I can only be left to think that there are two SKs because of your attitude. I am, by that reasoning, convinced that a NL would be the best play.

However, you are both right in that I definitely did hide behind a fake claim. I am, in fact, a Pro-Town Vig. I used it in order to deflect any possible NK towards myself, as it would only hurt to not be able to NK a scum, which I was fairly sure IAAUN was, bussing his GF to win. I was hoping to catch the SK when they tried to claim this today, and use it to lead the town to victory. However, since one of you isn't going to really claim, then it is clear that this gambit is no longer going to help.

Right now, I am more convinced BA is the SK, because of his high "reluctance" to vote me.

My targets should be fairly easy to tell, as they all, if the kill went through, died that night. What BA is doing now is trying to find a way to get me to slip and call me scum for hitting a/multiple town.

This sounds like Riceball is trying to turn things around and make a simple request that I made into a scum move. If you truly were a vig, you would at least include your targets with your half-assed attack on me.

yah i claimed vanilla for ever ago, they way i got it figured there is one scum left and one "other" left and since i am neither of those i lose the real game was between you and rice

Only 3 people are left, and tubby216 and BlakAdder decide to lynch Riceballtail. Being only a small majority, they had some problems but after BlakAdder knocked him/her unconscience the deed was done quickly. Riceballtail was a Serial Killer, so they probably did the right thing. But tubby216 feared that he dug his own grave now. With two victims last night, there has to be another killer. Before the sun completely set, BlakAdder took his uzi and blasted tubby216 to death without saying a word. The whole town has been eradicated, and even the mafia family has been wiped out. With no one being able to retell the story, BlakAdder takes his gear and sets out for the next city...

Riceballtail, Serial Killer, lynched Day 1
tubby216, Townie, endgamed

BlakAdder, Serial Killer, is the only survivor and wins the game. Congratulations!

Ugh, that last day was painful to watch. tubby, for future reference, if you're ever in that kind of situation again, No Lynch is absolutely the correct play. If you do that, you can still win if both scum shoot each other. If anyone at all is lynched, you lose.

I actually thought Riceball might have been telling the truth with his vig claim, but that didn't really matter; NL still would have been the right play in that case.

Still, even though we didn't win, I had two out of three remaining scum absolutely pegged when I replaced in, so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Congrats, BA, I think you were kind of lucky to get the win, but I guess you did pretty good at being not quite scummy enough to be the lynch at any point, but enough to keep the other scum from killing you.

IAUN makes a good point. Think about it like this: You knew that there were two SK's remaining. (Well, it could have been one Mafioso and an SK, but it's the same plan) Anyway, here are your possibilities:
If you decide to lynch, there are three possibilities:
-You are lynched. Rice and I tie in endgame and you lose.
-Rice is lynched. I kill you that Night. You lose.
-I am lynched. Rice kills you that Night. You lose.
If you decide to No-Lynch, there are four possibilities:
-We both kill you. We tie in endgame and you lose.
-Rice and I both kill each other. You win.
-Rice kills you and I kill Rice. I win.
-I kill you and Rice kills me. Rice wins.
In layman's terms, if you decide to lynch, there is physically no way for you to win. If you go to No Lynch, there is a hypothetical 1 out of 4 chance to win. Get it now?
