Oh, Day 3! This was so low on my watchlist, that I figured it was still night. Since Siesta is the second (I think, could be more) person to have their overthrow stolen, I believe we have a overthrow-stealing thief. Don't know what to think about whether or not that is a town role or a scum role. I believe CarnCarn is the thief though.

Gorrad definitely looks bad for today, as he did yesterday, but today, Korlash, who was for a Gorrad execution yesterday, is now dead. Not sure if this is a set-up to get me to execute Gorrad, or just plain stupidity on Gorrad's part. I am leaning heavily towards a Gorrad execution, especially with Monkey flipping town.

Before I act on it though, I really want the town to post though, since only Gorrad, Siesta, and Jazz has posted. The good news is that Jazz is back. Since they missed out on yesterday, I want to hear more from them and what they think of Gorrad, or if they think anyone else is scummy.

vote: Gorrad

Gorrad (3) - (Siesta, Jebus, orangepenguin)

Not Voting (4) - (CarnCarn, Gorrad, Moratorium, Jazzmyn)

With 7 alive, it takes 4 (right?) to execute. Gorrad is currently at L-1.

Heck, I don't feel confident with OP as the dictator in light of this, especially since we're most likely in LyLo (since we haven't hit scum yet).

SiestaGuru does not have an overthrow attempt today.

If dice rolls 1~7, CarnCarn would overthrow orangepenguin.

Original Roll String: 1d20

Yes I will probably deny extension requests. But circumstances such as a replacement coming in may warrant exceptions.

Does this mean you would like to shoot down gorrad?

Im not really sure what to think about this early overthrow btw... Even if you are right about the instant loss if OP was dictator .. Then I dont see how you being the dictator is better. You arent exactly townish in my eyes.

But lets calculate the instant loss thing:

3 maffia members, OP is scum:

townie dies at day, 2 die at night. 3 mafia members left, only 1 townie. Mafia wins.

2 maffia members, OP is scum:

townie dies at day, 2 die at night. 2 mafia members and 2 townies left.
Is that a instant victory for them aswell? In that case we should be extremely careful indeed..

OP. Dont make any rush decisions. Shoot the wrong guy and we lose. We need to be absolutely sure.

Yes (usually that's called endgaming; the mod just kills off the other townies).

If he was thinking town, he would have killed Gorrad last night because he is the most suspicious right now to pretty much eveyone, I would think. I think OP didn't kill Gorrad because OP is scum himself. This by itself says nothing about Gorrad (he could be innocent or scum with OP).
That said, I can't think of a good reason why town-OP (or town-anyone) wouldn't have killed Gorrad last night. So, that makes OP much more likely to be scum in my view.

Ah ok. I havent actually finished a game yet. I red about endgaming, but wasnt sure if the game would end at equal numbers or only if there would be more mafia members then townies.

We're close to lylo, so I didn't want to be responsible for another miskill, since Monkey flipped town, so I just used my protection, and was just going to consult the town instead, and see what they thought since Monkey flipped town.

Since there seems to be a consensus on him, I will gladly
execute: Gorrad
.

Had I used the secret police, and killed Gorrad, that would make three people dead - Monkey being executed, Korlash being nightkilled, and Gorrad being secret policed killed. Had Gorrad flip town in that scenario, that would be three dead townies, and I thought it would be wiser to discuss it, instead of being rash about it.

I actually believe we havent lost yet. If OP was scum, he would have shot someone else then gorrad if he had some brains.

If OP is scum, killing a random townie would have won him the game. Then why shoot down gorrad? Afterall, gorrad already looks very supicious, and if OP turns out to be scum, gorrad would look even scummier because he wasnt targeted by OP, which basicly gives them a very easy execution in the future. This is assuming some trickery by the town could stop the mafia from winning tonight ofcourse, otherwise it wouldnt matter.

If OP was scum, and gorrad isnt this is probably not the best option, and neither would it be a option if they are both scum (they would have won by now).

So Im thinking its very likely OP is town afterall, but we'll have to wait for the gorrad flip to be reasonably sure (not that it matters anymore if he flips town ofcourse).

Unfortunatly if OP is town, he could also guess wrong.. We were wrong about MM..

But eh, mora. What makes you think we lost? Do you think gorrad is town now? I noticed a lack of opinions on basicly everyone in the last few pages besides a vote on MM by you. So that leads me to the following question:
Moratorium: Who is scum?

If the game isn't lost, then great.

But the fact that OP just executed with 23 days left before the deadline...

And the fact that his reasoning to not use the secret police contradicts with his reasoning to execute pretty soon after the 48 hour
moratorium
on execution.. that being wanting more discussion (have we really discussed anything at all in Day 3? There's hardly any posts...)

...makes me think I was just wrong about who scum is and that we've lost.

As far as your "killing a random townie would have won him the game", you're probably right, I just have a very bad feeling about what just went down.

Because my advice has been super-awesome so far?

If I was scum I'd keep me just because I appear to be doing a great job at leading everyone in the wrong direction.

I only executed so soon because you and everyone else has made it clear who you wanted to lynch and that me not using the secret police was a bad decision on my behalf. If everyone's mind is set on Gorrad, then I am not going to waste even more time by giving scum a chance to overthrow, which I think they already have attempted.

Even though a mafia member was eradicated yesterday, the brutality during the night ended Dictatorville's hopes of survival...

CarnCarn, Mao Zedong, Protown Cunning Townie, Shot to Death Night 3
Moratorium, Joseph Stalin, Protown Vanilla Townie, Shot to Death Night 3

Jazzmyn, Adolf Hitler, Protown Vanilla Townie, Endgamed Day 4
Jebus, Henry VIII, Protown Vanilla Townie, Endgamed Day 4

orangepenguin, Winston Churchill, Mafia Godfather, survives
SiestaGuru, Pericles, Mafia Goon, survives
