Huh? Do you seriously believe this? You seriously would discuss 'alternative lynches' to a 100% bona-fide scum player on day one just to "get more information?" Are you trolling?

DGB is making sense here. When Day 1 turns into a quick lynch, we have almost nothing for Day 2. You can always look at the lynch wagon, but that's about it.

What do you mean, 'almost nothing for day 2?' It's almost as if you're regarding today as a way to get information on players instead of what the day actually is for. You're missing the objective of the game, and that is to lynch mafia. zwet is mafia. It'd be absurd if he wasn't.

More information will come out on day two. As will it come on day three. I don't see why day one needs to be 30-40 pages just so there's a treasure trove of useless information and arguments to pick from? I seriously don't understand this part of mafia so forgive me if I'm being obtuse.

Sam, Day 1 is where you get your biggest read on players. Yeah, more can come later. But Day 1 is far more important than people usually think it is. For example, when people say Day 1 is a shot in the dark, I attack them for it. We get a lot from Day 1.

What you say makes no sense. I asked you to point out exactly where he 'slipped' because and what the slip is, because I don't see a slip, and then you tell me it's because others are using WIFOM to defend him? That's still not a slip!

1st off, I don't think Samuel is seeing 20:20 regarding day one.. but it seems like he has genuine disdain for the information that can be gained from it.
Obviously I don't agree, but really, what do you expect from a Red Sox fan?

2nd, Zwet.. you are developing a habit of voting people who attack you with little reasoning. I think that voting someone who ISN'T attacking you mightwork better, because then we can assume you have a non-OMGUS reason.... but if you confine your votes to people voting YOU, you are going to need a reason if you want to convince me.

I am pretty sure I have directly addressed every argument you have made towards me.

As far as I've noticed, you're the one who is ignoring arguments. I've made several as for why I think zwet is scum. Here they are in order.

1) Lynch all d1 miller claims. I have explained why I think if you don't do this than the meta becomes too good for scum to claim miller with no consequences, and effectively takes away the towns most powerful weapon.

2) Lying is a lynchable offense, unless there is a demonstrated town motivation for lying. "I was creating reactions lol" is not a reason for lying. At the point where all he is generating from either sides is a logical attack on a scummy action, then there is no way to differentiate town reactions from scum reactions, making the action useless from an informative standpoint. There is, however, the significant scum motivation that he was going to be asked to prove his claim, and was not going to be able to do so.

3) Making illogical arguments. All he's done all game is say things like "TSQ KNOWS MY META VOTE: TSQ" Which isn't logical and doesn't help the town in any way. However, this kind of obfuscation is very useful to the scum if he does get lynched.

And here's a new one that I will make now: He's following the tides of momentum. Every single vote he has made this game has come almost directly after someone else has expressed suspicion about a player and voted for them. His vote on me (which he has now backed away from now that it has become clear that the rest of the town is not following) came almost directly after YOUR vote on me. Now his vote on sam comes almost directly after others have both expressed suspicion of sam and voted sam. It looks to me like he's trying to read the direction of the towns momentum, and then jump on and push. Considering his explanations of votes have been completely non existent (and even contrary to what he's saying now, in the case of me) I have no choice but to extract meaning of my own. This seems to be what he's doing to me.

What are your responses to those arguments? Considering it's you, and I don't expect you to make logical arguments, I am not voting you, but it's a LITTLE but frustrating when you attack me for doing that, when it's clearly not me, but you who is doing it.

So I repeat, since this is a long post: What arguments have I ignored?

You realize in order for his post to be a slip, he would have to have inside information, right?

You realize that his "slip" was calling you scum, right?

You realize that in order to have inside information calling you scum you would have to BE scum, right?

And it is still a null-tell. Attacking someone's activity, regardless of his activity in other games, is ridiculous to do on day 1.

Although this is pretty much just wrong; lurking is a great scumtell, and day 1 is a great time to go lurkerhunting, or even lurker lynching if it's absolutly necessary.

Disagree; town members lurk just as much as scum. Unless you have say a solid meta on someone who only lurks as scum, which I don't think people have on Jebus, I view lurking as a null-tell.

This is the WIFOM post I was talking about. And no, I'm not claiming scum. The slip was him trying to pretend to know I was scum, which he would only have been able to know if he was scum. In other words, he's attempting to use his scum knowledge to incriminate me, but at the same time revealing his true identity.
