vote: Coron
A couple of reasons:

1. He and Aelyn are looking equally scummy to me right now, and Coron's wagon seems to have more potential. What mith says is true, he's pretending to be helpful but really not posting much of use at all.

2. He's not me. And don't start with the "he's trying to get votes on anyone but himself" bit--I have ten votes on me, anyone else would do the same. Simply based on the fact that one knows one's own role, the probability (from my point of view) of him being a good person to lynch is always better than the 0% chance (again, from my point of view only) of me being a good person to lynch.

wow....

it takes quite a bit of skill to post 16 reasons and have all of them be invalid, and quite a bit of arrogance to say how our "crap" is less trustworthy than his gut when he does so.

See this is why I hella didn't want to have to do that. None of the reasons by themselves are valid, but when put together they are. I agree that any one as a sole reason I'd be totally full of crap, but with about 30 or 40 of those it starts to seem better.

coron just because one reason is crap doesn't mean putting 39 others just like it right next to it will make the reasoning any better, instead it makes it worse because then you are just intentionally spamming crap to try to confuse other people.

You didn't want to show us your reasoning because you knew they were crap? That hardly sounds protown at all....

This is not math class, it is the quality of your logic that counts not the quantity of it, 10 million crap reasons wouldn't persuade us to vote with you.

No, at no point of the game would they mean nothing, just individually they would not be worth a vote. I don't like to explain my logic because even *I* am just trying to analize my gut which will get the most acurate view by looking at the posts pure with no posts inbetween. You notice little things which add up to be a POSTING STYLE which is a ligitimate reason to vote someone. If they tend to be basically doing all but posting "I'm here" when they show up, it's a reason to vote, however if a differend person even does say it once it is not a good enough reason to vote. It's a matter of seeing little small things.

Twisting the hell out of his words?

Where did you get that idea from?

Why don't you state your LOGIC in your posts, or do you and coron form the "no logic" club?

If you're going to criticize what I've said, then SHOW me what he meant and how i've twisted that intentionally.

You said he admitted his reasons were crap. This is not the case. What he did admit was that his reasons were each not large enough to cause a vote on their own. He then asserted that the aggregate of them was sufficiently large. This is not an inherently invalid assertion.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Mr. "I'm in a baby-eating contest with IS"! It's one thing to want there to be logic in posts; I've come down fairly hard on Coron for that, myself. It's another thing entirely to be deliberately building a reputation for bloodthirsty behavior at the same time as insisting that others make logical posts. To me this looks like you found an argument you thought you could push through on Coron and didn't think about the fact that it's completely incompatible with the playstyle you're cultivating in other games.

The problem is it's NOT zero, you think small things don't matter? How often does scum mess up bigtime? once in every three games? I'd rather not rely on random lynchings and claimed cop following.

Fuldu I don't understand your post very much,

Sure I happen to be a very bloodthirsty fellow who'd love to string up the lot of you(and eat babies for fun)

But I do try to use logic whenever I can....

Locus, that was my point, adding up small pieces of bullshit won't make a logic argument, it would simply make a really large piece of bullshit, so I guess you call them negative numbers ;).

Sorry about the abscence, I could have sworn I posted I'd be away for February break, but apparently I never did.

Tip for Stewie: Don't get into a math debate with a guy named "Locus Cosecant."

I'll be doing a more thorough reread of the last 5 pages in the next day or two, but for now I'm going to
unvote: electra, vote: coron
. I'm not buying pooky's arguement, but I chalk it up to him having a bad day/week/other period of time.

Saying he is
deliberately
trying to build a particular reputation for himself is completely unrealistic. Maybe I'm the only one, but I've never intentionally tried to find a particular style of play. It just happens because if you're angry, you post angry, then you get a reputation as being angry.

Besides, people change. Wasn't Pooky the one who was only speaking in third person and using cute phrases when he first arrived?

As for Coron, I think the suspicions against Aelyn are a bit overdone, considering that he's been spending a lot of time under fire for a post that spawned from misreading another post.

Hmmm... that post was poorly organized, I might it sound like coron was saying what Fuldu said.

Fuldu used the "deliberately building a reputation" arguement. The reason I'm voting coron is because of what I said in the last sentence, coupled with mith and darklight's arguements.

Also: Mith, you really like linking to other games where you pick apart people's posts. Are you trying to intimidate us?

Eh? So you're the one saying all the important things? For me your attitude seems a bit dangerous town-wise: you imply that your logic and/or observations are the things which will save the town and you'll be the one leading the town to the victory. "Follow me, I'm right". It actually boils down to your signature: how can you lynch scum by yourself?

Unlike Fuldu, this made me chuckle. Must've touched something primal inside me :) Also, I try to view every game with fresh set of eyes, free of behavioural-pattern -burden from earlier games.

Ah Korais! Pooky remembers when Pooky was all nice and third persony.

That Pooky was FUN!

Now Pooky is just really annoyed at lurkers and craplogic... it's like innocence lost or something :(

So let's string coron up or something, those babies won't eat themselves you know....
