I'm not sure about you all, but when i random vote, I usually look for something trite to random vote day 1 and then see how reactions take towards the random vote. Using 'dice' or Random.org just isn't the way I like to randomly select unless I'm modding. (However, if you've worked with experienced players before you usually want to balance the game on how good people are, but lately doing that becomes a little biased and I've refrained from doing that ever again)

So if Mastin is really truthful about his randomness its quite stupid on his part because: if he is town, then he has just given scum reasons to vote for him that even a townie frowns upon.


Or if Mastin is an ace at deception, what he has done is incredibly smart as scum.

Other than that, I'm just wondering when a huge mistake is going to be made by that of scum.

Yes, Mastin did something that was scummyish if he is a noob scum, but he is claiming that that was his plan in order to flush people out. What do you think specifically about this attempted defense of his actions?

It may hold no relevance to what Mastin's allegiance is now, but I've used this tactic before and it failed miserably because it was too suspect in trying to say 'I'm trying to provoke scum to voting me' when in reality town players figure this is just a scum trick on the town. FYI, I was scum in that game giving the self-vote a shot to try and 'find scum'. Discuss.

If you are thinking it is me, then why on earth aren't you voting me? Especially after this same question was asked towards Ub? Didn't you claim to have read that?

Maybe because I'm not a trigger happy guy? Although it warrants an FOS for self-voting, it doesn't mean you should die asap. Day 1 should never end this early on a risk you took. So its worth some discussion; or would you really like me to vote you?

Just out of curiosity, in the game that you played this tactic as scum, did you think that there was going to be a massive wave of townie attack coming towards you for it? Or did you think it was going to be minor, and something that you could argue away quickly?

TBH, I thought it would warrant a few votes, but then I was going to try and hold some sort of 'townie' defense and point out who I found most scummy of the voters. But again, this failed miserably because there were two scum factions as well as trigger happy townies.

Also, do you think the towns response in this current game would qualify for being a massive attack towards Mastin so far, or more like a minor argument.

I am playing in these newbie games so I don't get shunned out of the themed games because ('I have no experience and must have at least 5 newbie games played before joining outside games'). You think I have not read the walls of text in this game? I would have to be a complete idiot not to. I have read them, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm all for just looking around and seeing where the scum are hiding. IMO, scum's number one mistake is to try and lead the town. Next is to lurk. Third would be a scum who is able to play with the rest of the town but never give away too much that they are not on town's side. Sometimes this can be spotted with WIFOM. Other times it can be spotted with simple questions like 'Hey guys, who should we pressure?'

So if you think I'm ignoring this game because of long posts and unfortunate coding mistakes, you're wrong.

At this point in the game it actually would be useful to go back through the pages now and try and find who is the scummiest poster and then lynch them. This is what I like to do.

I was not panicking, but rather frustrated at how ignorant people can be. My question was simple and that was to speculate about the scenarios since we have done so much else today. I thought it would be interesting to see what people thought of the setup.

We have to think like the mafia now that we have narrowed the game to two setups. The mafia are the ones who know what the final setup is now. They know its 1 or 3 while we can only assume its 1 or 3. Right? So what can we make of that? They will either have to expect a doctor will protect if it IS setup 1, or they can kill me in setup 3 and essentially tell the rest of you townies that its setup 3.

Basically, I feel me claiming now, and with me dying at night, can actually help you guys win the game. What do you think?

Also, RECKONER just joined us so all I want from him is: why does he think Lleu was lurking the whole time and not participating (remember, Lleu was going to be out of town, can anyone confirm this was true as in was he posting in other threads during our game?)

I know this is a crap summary, but maybe it will spark something in someone else's mind about earlier suspicions before all the people replaced in.

By posting that I still have an ability (which was simply being able to still apply a vote for a lynch), but not saying <---that straightforward and upfront, I wondered if he would slip up in saying

Because he was so very close to Mastin all Day 1 and they were like a team. My reference of them 'buddying' earlier was not mistaken. I feel Scien is the only player that would have had the motive to kill Mastin because he was the most pro sounding player and strongest advocate in scum hunting. It makes the most sense when Scien was, IMO, acting pro town all that day.

Also, my attempted investigation of Sirdanilot was to try and resolve my case with him because if I could have him on my side, then scum hunting would have been an easier agenda.

Also, Santos is probably one of the worst players I have ever seen.

@Henrz, yes, by dying today I lose, but the town goes on to try and win. I get no victory in being lynched, but hopefully someone recognizes scum's eagerness to lynch a cop (a useless cop at that). That is the main point and by self lynching it is irrevocable, but to prove a point that I believe Scien is one scum member.
