OK, page five, and this is seriously not going to work. My eyes are continiously closing, and while I'm reading the thread, I am not seeing scummy things, it all just passes through my eyes...

General impressions till now. Zwet is very good at getting votes by being annoying, unvoting voting etc Esspecially tenchi for little reasoning.

Wall-e. Nicely tries to be protown, gets this town going. Have played with him before (or did I replace in after he was lynched?), and it is good to see that he is calmer, and not really a vote magnet, like zwet is, and like I have seen Wall-e.

Mikek. Puts some effort in this game, tries to find good tactics. Finding other poly-games for good ideas is protown in my eyes. I also don't think we should dismiss the massclaim thing now, as there are no kills (something Ace wanted to imply), and mafia can't choose.

Here's the thing: I can't distinguish between zwets as a troll and zwets as scum. He's ruining my reads of EVERYONE ELSE in this game, and so I want him (and his three scumbuds) to die.

Check their exchange in page 7. Actually, Zwet called him out on AtE, which I actually agree on. Zwet also strongly agreed with my post against Archon.

it's not scummy. Look at Lovers Multi-ball. They delayed the claim and I think it allowed the town to scumhunt first and find inconsistencies in pairings later. I was scum in that game and lost, not because of that, but I do think delaying the claim til day2 or 3 helped the town.

It depends on the player. If it was a player like, say, zwet, then no, I wouldn't. If this would come from a player like, say, yos, then yes, I would consider it a tell.

While Zwet often comes across as scummy due to his bizarre playstyle, that merely serves as a shield for him when he is actually scum. In this game, I get the impression that he is, in fact, scum.

To me, those favouring early massclaim are suspicious; those who think it is suspicious to favour a massclaim later, e.g. Day 2 are suspicious; those who are defending those who appear to favour an early massclaim are suspicious. This means Archon, Zwet, Ortolan, and Mikek.

Add to that the fact that ortolan seems to be defending/protecting Zwet when he isn’t actively ignoring the elephant in the room that is Zwet. Eg., in Ortolan’s long post, he addressed several things, mostly laying his suspicions on Pie and Tenchi; seems to be excusing Zwet’s “why isn’t Pie dead yet?” comment by telling Arch that ‘many people make half-serious comments like this, it’s not only Zwet’; seems to be referring to Zwet when he talks about the mass claim and says ‘if one is acting scummily in a fashion they usually do, and the other is pro-town, then we are more likely to write off the former’s play as simply being consistent with their meta. I don’t see how this discussion could ‘distract’ us at all”. Sure seems to be an oblique reference to Zwet and an invitation to "write off" his play as "simply being consistent with his meta" regardless of whether he is scum in this game or not. I suggest that this is another example of Zwet using his meta as a shield for when he is really scum, and Ortolan trying to capitalize on that with his scumbuddy, Zwet. Also, here is Ortolan telling Tenchi to stop voting without justification but he doesn’t say the same to anyone else who has been voting without justification – in particular Zwet, who has done more of this than anyone. He asks Wall-E if he thinks that Zwet is scum, and if not, why is he voting for him? Again, he seems awfully pre-occupied with Zwet while simultaneously ignoring Zwet’s own posts.

Also, I think that Arch fibbed in his iso post 7. He seems to be feigning that he didn’t realize his vote was still on Zwet, claims that it was ‘random’ and unvotes. But looking at the post in which Arch voted for Zwet (his iso post 4), it wasn’t “random” at all. Rather, it was in direct response to Zwet’s comment/question, “why isn’t Pie dead yet?” interestingly enough, the same post that Ortolan ‘explained away’ for Zwet.

In the result, I am going to:

No, because it's too risky. Scum haven't bussed each other in a single lovers run I've ever seen, and here it's not much different.
