I would consider that quoting a part of your role pm, which is not allowed. Use paraphrasing only if you want to say anything about your role (except for your rolename).

Oh. Reading the mod's posts, I should be doing it. So, what could we do to confirm people on the have item description list? Are there some specifics in the item lists that we can tell scum without giving them information?

I have an idea. What about if every player of the "I have items description" list prepares a question for another player in the list?
That way we have another way to test.

I think that most of the people in the claiming to have items list are town. I don't think yes/no questions are the best way to go about trying to catch someone. We can still come up with other questions that don't have yes/no answer and wouldn't completely reveal how the items work.

Telling if you have item descriptions in your role PM is not indicative of role power, it only tells us if your character has arms or not :/. I think it's fair to believe that all roles are equally powerful in this game, so this list isn't scummy. Your recent behavior, however, has been.

You have no item descriptions, right? The questions should be asked between those with item descriptions, with everyone confirming the legitamacy of the answer before the next is asked.

I think each player who is in the has items list should submit a question to be answered, and each question is randomly assigned to a player. This will catch scum twice, once by submitting a stupid or unrelated question, and the second by them answering a question wrong. Thoughts?

ATM- neutral town. You seem to *want* to find scum using our roles, but I don't think its going to work. I can't help but wonder what happens when you get to me and I go "I can't answer your questions because I don't have item descriptions." Are you just going to wipe out 4 possible townies? And what about the people who refuse to give info? Are you just going to run them up in turn until they claim? I was leery of your plan at first because I couldn't see how it would work, but lacking descriptions, I was trusting you to catch scum. So yeah, it was a bit (understatement) infuriating to find out that you didn't have a plan beyond gather information. Because who does info in the open benefit? The scum. I'm gonna be bitter until you bag a scum. If your plan gets us ahead or wins us the game, I'll eat crow and sing your praises.
