Well, unless we start putting our votes on no lynch, someone will die if mathcam refuses to extend the deadline regardless, and it's going to be pretty random regardless. I have nothing specific to pin on anyone, but I'd rather see a lynch than no lynch. Unvoting the random bandwagons doesn't actually solve anything, Nanook. It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.-

Please Extend Deadline
Axel brought up a good point, along with someone else who I can't htink of at the moment. If we kill scum, and then lynch them the day after they die (even though they're dead) then even if the mafia go back in time to save him, he'd die the next day anyway due to being lynched.
This will only work, however, if we can vote dead people. Mathcam, can we vote dead people?Kun Lan:"Oops, I guess my trick didn't work on you."
Harman:"Tricks are for kids, Kun. I'm an old man."

All right, now that the pressure's off for a while, does anyone:
-Have anyone they this has acted scummy so far?
-Have any policy/strategy decisions the town needs to make to bring up?
-Have anything else decent to say?
If so, please do. I think thus far, it's been debated if we should revive townies on sight (decision: it's up to the doc) and been brought up how our voting patterns should look when we end the day (no decision, but no one has objected to trying our utmost to have no votes on other than the lynchee). Did I miss anything? To be Continued...-

A. No not really, considering that most of the discussion in the game has been towards mechanics.
B. Not that I know of ..
C. At the moment I don't really have anything pursay decent to say .. although define decent.
Obviously it is up to the doc whether s/he wants to either protect players or revive them. I say we leave it as a mystery considering that we don't really want mafia to be certain about it. The doc most likely knows what s/he's doing hopefully and can make that decision for themself.-

Wait, so now what? We have no leads and random bandwagons.
Here, I'll get us started
Unvote Vote AxelThis is somewhat random, but there's something a little fishy about him, maybe it's just the way you worded your posts, who knows. This is only temporary until someone slips.Kun Lan:"Oops, I guess my trick didn't work on you."

Fishy, eh? Hmmmm.
Re-reading the thread does not tell me much. The most suspicious sounding posts were these:
SapphireVerde wrote: hi, im back. sowi for not being around i've been busy.
eniwiez, i dont think we should worry about if we should save the townie yet. we should try to find a scum. its up to the doc anyways. and i got a question mathcam, is it only the doc that has a time machine? selected players or all of the town?
That's just not very helpful, and potentially harmful. I have never played with Sapphire before, so maybe someone else can tell me if that's typical. Sapphire also didn't vote to extend the deadline, but just said "Yay!!" after it happened. So, anyways:SapphireVerde wrote:we still got plenty of time left to decide to save Armix, so we could try to solve something else first. oh wait? is there still a deadline? if so, then we dont got time. then im all fro savin him if whoever wants to save him wants to risk it.
Vote SapphireVerde
This isn't a strong vote either, but it's the best I got at the present time.-

hey, i got four random bandwagon votes on my head. i dont think thats right. i think i shud give some form of defense. i type whatever pops into my head. so i basically, i type the way i talk. the "yay" was because we got to extend the deadline. i always say yay. in my real life. as for my posts w/c you find kinda weird, i was just letting the town know that i was here and what were my views on saving the dead townie. and i know it wasnt helpful, but what else could i say, you didn't contribute anything helpful either. the whole town wasnt getting anywhere. what else could i do?Fluffy Wuffy!-

I'd have to agree with the plan that votes should only be on bandwagons when the day ends.
If I'm correct the votes are currently like this:
SapphireVerde - Electra, Mgm, Axelrod.
Mgm - SapphireVerde, Fuldu.
Electra - Mastermind of Sin.
Axelrod - Crola.
If we end with something similar, mafia could travel back to night 1 and kill SV. Then his vote on me wouldn't count, causing a three-way tie in lynch numbers on the new day 1.Show"Logic is a systematic method to come to the wrong conclusion."

In a three way tie, ony one person would die, as Mathcam stated earlier.Mgm wrote:I'd have to agree with the plan that votes should only be on bandwagons when the day ends.

Also, the SV we're playing with is a female, you called her a "him." Just pointing that out.Kun Lan:"Oops, I guess my trick didn't work on you."

I disagree with the no votes on anything but the bandwagon policy. Assuming we put all our votes on one person today and then the mafia go back to last night and kill that person, the lynch will be decided by the votes cast by the dead. In this particular case that will be armlx, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We might be able to convince him that he shouldn't cast a posthumous vote (or should cast it on our chosen lynch, which for all practical purposes is the same thing). The problem, of course, is that we have no idea whether he's actually done that until it's too late for us to change it (short of using time fuel). Furthermore, if things go well for us, we'll have dead players in the coming days who aren't going to be as accommodating. Letting dead scum choose the lynch by being the only ones still voting is a bad, bad plan.
And, just to check, mathcam: What would happen if a day ended (normally, or as a result of time manipulation) with no votes cast? If somebody's still lynched, and the rules aren't clear on this, then the whole discussion is moot.It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.-

Still, it would suck if a person died with just one vote because of time travelling scum. I wouldn't mind more than one bandwagon, at least than we'd know the potential people dying are put in that postition because the majority of the town wants them to be.In a three way tie, ony one person would die, as Mathcam stated earlier.
Also, the SV we're playing with is a female, you called her a "him." Just pointing that out.

You do have a point, Fuldu, but that will only become relevant if someone is revived one way or another. As long as it's only townies that are dead, meaning no scum could have a hidden vote out, I think the plan will work out as imagined. We can trust townies to follow it, after all.To be Continued...-

There is one benefit, if everyone votes for scum and no one else, then even if the mafia goes back in time to kill a voter, the mafia member will still be lynched. And if the mafia go back in time to kill the mafia member before it's lynched, then it would just be a no lynch that day.
However, as we've discussed, this can work against us if the vote is close to, if not a tie.Kun Lan:"Oops, I guess my trick didn't work on you."

As long as the "dead" people (who are supposed to be keeping up) get on board, there shouldn't be a way for the Mafia to manipulate the lynch. If we all vote for one person today, and then tonight the Doc goes back in time and "protects" Armlx night one. Then Armlx is revived and he gets to cast his vote today. If he casts it for the same person everyone else voted for, there is no problem.
The only risk, is if we somehow revive a Mafia who then doesn't cast a vote the same way as everyone else. But even then, we will see that the person has not followed the plan--their votes will be revealed. We then lynch them. As far as I can tell, there is no way to "revive" someone from a lynch, if the votes are at a sufficiant majority.-
