For those of you who thought I was going to be another tubby, think again. I'm finally caught up and ready to to some playing. I have to agree with Mike that it was REALLY hard getting through this thread. I held on though (no thanks to that cat thing.)

Anyways, my vote stands on Dr. P. Dingo's defense and Percy's analysis affirm my suspicion. The Mufasa situation is a bit problematic, but if someone makes a claim, I like to test it. We can't really make an informed decision about him yet, and judging from his posts he may indeed have an ability that may help the town.

Also, catherina looks like a bot. A replacement may be in order.

Other than that, I don't have much to say.

By "the rest" I meant Dingo and Percy- well just Dingo really. There were times when he misunderstood Percy's position, just like Dr Pepper did of him. It's certainly possible that either one intentionally did so- I don't know how you guys have decided that Dr Peppers was intentional, and Dingos an honest mistake.

Yosarian's pretty good as mayor; he's not a huge figurehead, he looks like a competent, active player, and I don't have any suspicion on him as of yet. We just have to keep his power in mind, and perchance apply a bit more pressure than normal if he starts setting off alarms.

As for Dr. Pepper, his repeated misreps are convincing; post 782 and 787 are good examples. Page 32 in general sold me.

If we don't get a satisfactory answer for the question you still have outstanding (I think it's the one near the bottom of page 33? That was a while ago...) I think I'll be voting. I hadn't had him pegged as scum previously, though- I can't really say why but I'd got the impression he was quite levelheaded and townie.

If he's truly pro-town and we wait til tomorrow, he could be killed in the night and (I gather) we'd lose whatever pro-town trigger he's got. If he's anti-town (which I think he is) then not going along with his plan could at least minimise the damage.

I like this logic. Scum knows if Mufasa is scum, and will act accordingly. The best move for the town may well be to lynch Mufasa today.

I'm not sure either; I've just read the wiki article on it. It's like they are a vanilla townie that can return as scum if they die. So maybe if they are NK'ed we won't know if and they'll remain a player but a scum player? I don't know how they can pull it off if they are lynched.

In that case, we shouldn't be taking advice from him anyway.

We should hear him out tomorrow because he could be trying to WIFOM us one way or the other. But he definitely cannot remain alive in this game much longer.

If it's true that Mufasa is scum, then he's set himself up for a lynch tomorrow.

If he's town who does have an ability that will help the town if he's lynched tomorrow, then it's in the scum's best interest to NK him tonight. If it's true that he gets recruited to the scumteam or some other weirdness if he's NKed, then he'll still be lynched tomorrow from his claim.

So I don't really see how lynching him today is a good idea.
