I'd rather have ThAdmiral post more on his thoughts before he is lynched. In the likely case he's scum, it might be something he says something that's useful. If he actually turns out town, we at least have the thoughts of a townie player.

Since we are well over the visible amount of votes to lynch, there are surely some people on the wagon with negative real votes.

What does everyone think? Should these people unvote? The good news would be that ThAdmiral would be lynched, the bad news would be that we may out several people with negative votes which might not be beneficial to the town.

Oh, there are probably people with votes that don't count too. But the rules specifically mention that there can be negative amounts of votes. Should these people (if any) unvote or not? Discuss.

Scum with a negative vote can just leave their vote on ThAdmiral. Town with a negative vote who actually want to lynch ThAdmiral would definitely unvote. A townie who doesn't want to lynch ThAdmiral and who is voting him should say so and not secretly have a negative vote. Because of this I think at least townies don't know they have a negative vote.

And I'd be pretty stupid to be defending ThAdmiral if he and I were scumbuddies. I just want him to leave a bit more thoughts before he's lynched. And I still think millar has a higher chance of being scum than ThAdmiral (although both are very likely scum).

When we were at 9 people voting for ThAdmiral, it resulted in 6 real votes.

2 people have voted since that realvote count was posted (myself and ortolan).

So if those two votes counted as simple single votes, we are currently at 11 people voting, 8 real votes in. One vote needed to hammer, assuming that the vote reducing mechanic didn't affect the two newest voters.

Can someone else vote ThAdmiral please? There's a reasonable possibility that you would be the hammer.

WLC, switch your vote, and you can jump all over millar13 tomorrow, plenty of people will be joining you.

I admit, that I played this game so wrong. Not realizing which side was scum and which side was town. And for that reason, I will fully support my lynch tomorrow and anything other conclusion would be ridiculous

Tbh, Millar's post doesn't really seem like a convincing role PM, and I wouldn't have realized that it wasn't a paraphrase; the fact that the Mod publicly stated that it is a violation of quoting a PM sounds like it is indeed quoting a PM.

@Zero or Negative votes-
I don't think there is any reason to believe zero/negative votes indicate affiliation, although if scum have zero/negative votes, I assume they are either more numerous than we would normally expect OR they have some advantage to balance that.

I think it is possible that townies may have zero/negative votes without realizing it, I don't think any townies would intentionally jump on the Looker/ThAdmiral wagon when his lynch is such a sure thing, if they know that their vote will prevent the lynch.

We could have each player unvote, request a vote count (check if the unvote results in a lynch), then revote and in that manner determine if anyone in particular has a zero/negative vote. There is danger in doing this that we may reveal double voters, or potentially reveal powerful townies whose power roles are balanced by not having a vote.

At this point, it would be pretty appropriate to claim. You're almost certainly going to swing anyway.
