We could have each player unvote, request a vote count (check if the unvote results in a lynch), then revote and in that manner determine if anyone in particular has a zero/negative vote. There is danger in doing this that we may reveal double voters, or potentially reveal powerful townies whose power roles are balanced by not having a vote.

Law appears to be actively attempting to prevent us from abusing the realvote/visiblevote posting mechanic.

The one that I'm honestly very surprised hasn't helped out with this wagon is semioldguy, who appears to have ignored this topic entirely and stayed non-voting. I had a townish read on him, but now I'm confused by his sidelining.

Ok for my side question, but that doesn't answer my primary question.

Millar's post did not claim to be the exact same text as in a pm from the mod. His post does not look like an

attempt

at an exact quote. In fact, his childish attempt to hide his role name indicates that he does not want to directly quote even something that he would have permission to do.

Actually to clarify based on Mora's post, would you consider it an abuse of the game mechanics if we try to use the vote counts to determine the number of votes each player has?

This goes for both trying to find out using the real vote count, but also trying to find out by seeing what is sufficient to lynch ThAdmiral

Since we have a lot of consensus against Admiral, what about if we do something to know how many votes we really have.

What about if we massively unvote and then revote massively again in a revealing number of iterations, everytime triggering the real votecount when we reach the amount of votes needed to lynch Admiral?

I propose abusing rule 17, the bolded part.

17) The votes of some roles are worth more than other’s votes, so the day might end while it may seem that not enough votes are on one person (or the day doesn’t end while it seems someone has enough votes).

Therefore, there will be a difference between a visible votecount and a real votecount. I will not show the real votecount until either of the votecounts has more than half of all votes on one person.

If we massively unvote and then reorder our votes in a way that we can infer how our votes work, then I think we can have some valuable information.

But me thinks its too late since admiral was at L-3 in the last real votecount, before ortolan, Mora, millar and WLC voted him.
