So since I have a vested interest in getting this over with, here's an idea: We get an idea of who thinks who is scum. If there's one player that three active players think are scum, we lynch them.

Here's what we know so far:
ToD says KoC and madeofphail are scum
KoC says madeofphail and caf are scum
B_B says KoC and caf are scum
madeofphail says KoC could be scum; however, he's also inactive
caf hasn't said who scum are

Or, to put it another way:

madeofphail has been prodded. He has alerted me that this is exam week at our school (Seniors, myself included, graduated 3 weeks ago). He will hopefully be back by Friday.

Try to pick up the activity, guys. Everyone is complaining about the game being slow, but not doing anything to fix that. I understand that scenerios with few players left cause people to hesitate, but please try to post a bit more.

Sigh... I guess KoC and phail would be my top two.

KoC's claim is suspect and his play has been scummy, as I detailed before. However, I was somewhat put off by the fact that everyone (well, Trumpet and BB) immediately agreed with my suspicions. Perhaps I'm being paranoid, but that set off a small alarm bell that maybe it was the scum reinforcing my suspicions so he'd get lynched. That's why I really wanted phail to weigh in - to see whether or not he conformed to this. That said, I do still think he's the best choice, all things considered.

As for the other two, phail takes precedence due PhilyEc's scumminess followed by phail's hopping around on the rolefishing subject - and phail's never really done anything that seems overtly town, generally preferring to take the 'back seat' and let others stick their necks out. As for Trumpet, only scummy thing I can really remember him doing is switching to voting SSK out of nowhere yesterday as soon as someone (me) started to express doubt over it. Apart from that, can't find a whole lot wrong apart from his worrying tendency to lurk (but apparently phail has started to do that too...)

Alright, before we get any lynching I'm just going to put an idea out here. This idea is probably wrong, but what the hell, saying something isnt going to hurt anyone.

Why not instead of saying lynch the scummiest person, how about we do process of elimination? By which I mean that generally it is alot easier to frame someone than to say, prove them innocent. Why don't we make it abundantly clear who the scum are so that we can get it riht, we are at lylo aftyer all. And if KOC is really scum, then this should make it obvious enough so that we can get this lynch moving forward.

Bash me for being cautious, but the only other time I survived to lylo I ended up playing poorly and screwed over the town. I refuse to let my actions be repeated, as such I want to be very careful with my votes.

If it is, I suppose we can try, but I think it's a somewhat roundabout method.

Phail, why are you stalling on telling us who you think might be scum? You proposed a theory but then you didn't apply it yourself, it's not very satisfactory...

Also, process of elimination isn't that different from 'standard' scumhunting when you have 5 players and 2 scum. I've kinda been using it already with my elimination of BB (which technically speaking leaves the rest of you with a 2/3 chance of being scum... whoa). So, go ahead and use it if you want, but it's not an excuse to delay any longer.

I agree with Caf. The most logical thing to do is to narrow our choices by PoE and then pick the scummiest person of them. If someone "eliminated" is uber scummy, don't eliminate them and put them in the running. It's the best move, and I have no objections right now.

I know I have been not very active in my posting, and for that I apologize. But when I posted earlier in the game, I said at least a good deal to work with. Trumpet didn't seem to have much substance in the beginning, but now hes very active. I'm not sure the reason why this is, but it makes me wary.

I feel like you're reaching here to come up with something you can accuse me of. (I notice you don't point out anything specific I've done that's incriminating. While the same could be said of me in regards to KoC, I have situational reasons that establish why from my POV, KoC can't not be scum.)

I'm not one of those players who can just make things happen D1, I need other people to get the ball rolling, generally including finding at least one scum that I can draw connections from. In KoC's case, the connections between Isacc and him (specifically, Isacc's post 394) are conspicuous by their absence - as explained previously, I think it almost certain that there was at least one scumpartner that Isacc didn't try to bus/distance/what-have-you in 394, I know it's not me, and KoC is the only other player left who wasn't mentioned. The only way for me to get around this is for someone else to do something that makes me think, "hang on, did he seriously just do that?" - as madeofphail did, which is why I HoS'ed him late D2 and voted him out of the gate D3.

Also, if for some reason people need another reason why KoC is scum: you remember the logic I used to vote KoC at the start of this game day? It's equally applicable in reverse, i.e. if KoC is town, I must be scum, and he could vote me and have no fear of scum jumping on to quicklynch a townie. He neither voted me with that reasoning nor tried to find fault with it. Not good.

One other thing I'd like to mention: If KoC is scum, caf is obvtown. Look at 513, then look at 529. Somehow caf shoots from not even worth a mention (i.e., most town) to the guy he most wants lynched, with no explanation. Hell, if KoC's scum, his scumpartner pretty much has to be madeofphail, as KoC has expressed suspicion of madeofphail in both of his posts today where he's named suspects, but in neither one was phail his top suspect. Looks to me like a way to say, "hey, I was suspicious of this guy, don't pretend I was ignoring him!"
