I still don't get it.

Let's start off with this. Why are we the most scummy?

Then let's move on to this. How the heck can we be scummy if no one is?

As far as 'clues' from the mod go, look at this: "Quietly, the body of Maximus, the lowly Goon slumps down onto the ground." From his deathscene. Was there a single Goon? No. This means that format is hint-less, I'd say. We're hardly playing outguess-the-mod games in any case by taking what's clearly a plural ("his accomplices") to mean that more than one Accomplice was in the setup. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the entire Godfather-and-Accomplice thing failed to live up to its potential, but I'd call this fairly clear-cut.

If you've got other suspicions, please share them. I would be willing to seriously consider a lynch of anyone but myself (obviously), StevieT92, or PeaceBringer. When momentum gets going in the wrong direction, the only thing to do is point out a decent one, and while I've got a few thoughts, nothing is particularly strong.

Lowly goon is an adjective of Maximus, not a singularity. Meaning:

HM, the lowly goon
Zoneace, the lowly goon
and
Maximus, the lowly goon

could all still exist in the same game with the same classification.

But that's not even where I'm deriving my vote.

I was talking more to Mr. Flay, and making essentially the same point you just made, Save The Dragons: The plural, "accomplices" shows something, whereas what he seemed to be interpreting as an exclusive, "the Accomplice", does not. The Goons were a supporting example.

Aside from his poor play, where

you deriving your vote? I don't think that if he were scum, he'd accuse people with the serious intention of turning his bandwagon into a lynch of someone else that... badly. I mean, it's a serious bungling of that objective. Your argument, from what I can tell, is "His role can't be confirmed because it involves guessing at the setup, so lynch him for being scummy." I don't buy that.

Personally, I'm finding this game hard to read because *so* many of us (including myself) are replacements... it's almost like we've started a new, smaller game, except now we have even less idea what the setup (remaining roles) is/are...

As far as I can tell, commify, PeaceBringer, and DarkLight140 are the only people who have been here the entire time. PB is pretty much confirmed, and I can't really find any flaws with DL's logic. commify...could go either way. lazmoth had unplugged from this game, but I'm doing what I can. Only Stevie and perhaps STD seem to still suspect me. JDTAY/Nanook's role is somewhat in question, but at least it's verifiable. SSF352 seems more and more like a bit player, not a scum.

That leaves Scalebane/Stevie and joe/STD in my book, and joe was accused of lurking a lot in the beginning. Stevie's being very strange right now, and has an unverifiable, possible but 'safe' role... that's my basic suspicions.

You've said a contradiction. When asked for an explaination, all you have done is repeat yourself. I'm completely disregarding your claim in my decision because I believe it to be equally possible as impossible.

Darklight: I was disproving your supporting example, but looking back I think I misunderstood it.

I've been reading over SSF's posts, and I'm sorry, but to sit there and say that Std, myself, and Mr. Flay are the most scummy, but we aren't really acting scummy makes me think that he is trying to set him self up to jump on a bandwagon.

I read his later post trying to explain what he meant, but I get the same interpretation basically. It says "No one is really scummy right now" .. "The most scummy are STD, Nanook, then Flay" ... "They are the scummiest, but they are not scummy enough to warrant a vote"

That all right there is just a bunch of rambling in my opinion. I think that last line of his should end in yet. It's like he is waiting for someone to come up with something solid against one of us to use so he can vote. This is why I don't list people that I find suspicious too often.

The only reason why I'm backing off of Stevie right now, is because of the claim. No one countered, so atm I guess I can buy it.

Mmmmm. Reasons for scumminess are still welcomed. I can see what you're getting at... you think people are scummy, but there is simply a case of no one being terribly standoutish scummy? I, for one, find the accomplice claim plausible, acceptable.
