I feel that massive has been incosistent and is holding something. I feel that I want to vote him now because he has the most suspicious look, and I still have an RVS vote. However, I may not stay with this vote.
Archon, care to explain why you want massive to claim when he isn't close to a lynch? What benefit would it be to the town?
Massive, I've been attempting to move this game out of the RVS and have placed two semi-serious votes now (eyeing a third on Archon)...what's your beef with that BROTHER?

@massive in post 47
Attacking ad hominem, ie Criticising your attacker for not scum hunting himself diverts attention but doesn't actually address the points raised against you.
@Archon, I thought you were pretty townie until I've read your last couple of posts, you are acting very defensive/wishy-washy of your own voting even though no one has questioned you yet.
Kise: I'm not sure what you're characterising as a "change of heart." Do I still have high hopes for the awesomeness of this game? Yes. But as with any game, it's all down to the people you play with and I think this format is less forgiving. People have said, "Well, why didn't you opt out?" I did not respond back to the mod between the confirmation PM and the role PM and, in any case, would not opt out. But attacking ME because I think it's dumb to attack someone else because of the ruleset of the game is just as much "scumhunting" as attacking someone because of the ruleset. In other words, none at all.
hambargarz: Please describe the points against me. So far it's "oh massive dislikes the ruleset" so I can't see how I can defend against that, seeing as it's probably true.

I had assumed the point you were reacting to was post 35. Specifically the point that you had done "zero" scum hunting and were criticizing other players reasons for voting. Your reaction was to say that "you (I'm assuming VP) haven't done any scum hunting" and voted him in return.
I agree with Locke and hambargerz points about Archon. I also feel like Archon was seriously trying to get massive to claim and then when VP Baltar called him on it, tried to shrug it off. But wait, he also says massive he thinks massive is hiding something. Also, voting just to be voting on a 4 person wagon is a bit suspicious.

hambargarz: I would think it would be more suspicious for VP Baltar to vote me for "doing no scumhunting" when he's done none himself (at that point) -- so my vote followed his logic. And saying that I voted for VP Baltar "ad hominem" while not addressing the points against me, and then saying the points against me are what I attacked him "ad hominem" for, doesn't add up, just so ya know.

God I hate not being able to quote. Archon, explain the difference between your statements in post 55. Also, answer the question of what benefit the town would receive from a massive claim at this point.
Massive, lrn 2 read. Proactively asking questions and trying to move the game along with accusations is scumhunting.

I still think massive's criticisms and suggestions are invalid as VPB's 63 succinctly notes.
Re: Archon, I actually don't have a problem with early claims given the post restrictions we face and the short deadlines. We need to get that information on the board early enough so that it can be properly evaluated and acted upon instead of being forced into a sub-optimal situation. However, calling for a claim at two votes is ludicrous and Archon’s response to people calling him out for it was unsatisfactory as well.
VP Baltar: Your scumhunting style must be way different than mine, because I count your votes as Random, Because of the Rules, Because of the Rules, and when you voted for me and complained about my lack of scumhunting, I believe you had asked zero questions other than the one you condescendingly asked me as you voted for me. I like the Archon thing and I like how you're quickly trying to distance yourself from a possible lynch, so maybe you can explain why you would vote for me again?

I'm definitely not distancing myself from an Archon lynch. Let the record show that I support it fully at this point. However, putting a player at L-1 before he answers pertinent questions days before deadline is a bad idea.
You complete overreaction to having my vote while trying to direct attention to Archon (a case I started) is hilariously scummy.
Our scumhunting styles may be different, but my question is this: when are we going to see yours?

I still need you to answer the question of what benefit the town receives by massive claiming when you asked him to. Answer in your next post Archon or die.
