I apologise for not posting that much. Most of the time I have is during the day (I live in the UK) and I'm guessing that's different for everyone else, because there was a six and a half hour gap between my post and the next one yesterday.

I read some of Archon's meta and a lot of it is pretty strange. None of it makes me find him any less scummy here, though. I'm guessing Don's restriction is that he has to vote for whoever votes for him? It looks like he can vote for whoever he likes after someone else gets voted for.

For what it's worth, I just realized that outsider = miller. The animecharacter is 3rd-party, which is likely either an SK or a Jester.

What is an animecharacter and why are you talking about it? Not sure if I'm missing something here.

I'd like to know why VP and Don both seem to be softclaiming the same guy, as pointed out by Kise aswell.

I noticed VPs comment earlier in the game and thought I had an idea who he was, but with Dons new softclaim, it leaves me wondering.

If they are both claiming the same person, that's where we should be looking.

VP, DJ, care to shed any light on the matter for us?

That makes more sense now! I was confused when I couldn't find any mention of it on the wiki. I'm dubious as to whether these are actually softclaims or simply people using wrestling phrases in a wrestling theme.

Yep it's possible, but they are too closely related to the same wrestler to be ignored.

Ftr, I wasn't softclaiming. It was just the only wresting terminology I could think of. Don may be, I don't know.

Kise's setup speculation is unnecessary, as we aren't guaranteed that all those classes of characters are even in this game. We'll probably have a better idea after tonight.

lol@DDD speculating about Jesters. What goes around comes around.

In other news, LL is confirmed scum. Notice how once I called him on being lurker scum he pops in with a lame excuse about time zone differences. What the hell does that have to do with anything? He is today's target for sure if Archon's meta checks out.

If I can't make two posts in a row and nobody else posts for the majority of the time I'm online, I'm not going to be able to post a lot. That was my point.

Don has made repeated references to being a particular wrestler, which would indicate he certainly wants us to think that. Either that or it's part of his post restriction, but he hasn't done it in every single post.

I was going to say, I totally missed any soft claiming on Baltar's part. If you think don is soft claiming someone, at least name that person so we can check out your logic.

@Baltar - I am not convinced Locke is lurking, but see your point. Archon was at L-2 for quite awhile and you directly told him to claim or die and he has not done it. Do you not consider that suspicious?

Now can we get the crowd fired up?

Alright, LL, I can see where you are coming from if that is the case because double posting is limited. I hadn't thought about it that way. I need to review your posts and see if this actually is the case.

@Kreriov-You are correct about Archon. It slipped my mind as I got distracted by DJ, but it definitely is suspicious.
ARCHON CLAIM IN YOUR NEXT POST.

re: DJ's hypo-softclaiming. I think we should probably stop talking about it now. It's not helping the town.

DJ, if you don't have a post restriction say, "I'm a little teapot short and stout", only in your next post without voting anybody.

Ok, post restriction essentially confirmed. I haven't quite figured out the details, as there are some anomolous posts by DJ. The question now is judging his alignment.

Regardless, Archon claim and then decisions need to be made about today's lynch ASAP.

I think people need to start putting a little more effort into this game as well. I've seen a lot of sheeping along so far.

Not sure if I totally buy the post restriction, there is a couple of posts where Don doesn't change his vote. Also in post 41 he votes for DDD who wasn't voting for him at the time and again in post 66 when he votes for Archon. His contributions to this game are just shameful and I don't want him fall back on a PR excuse.

Something is off about DDD. Really hating on the jester speculation. Archon's claim is believable character wise at least.

I'm not a jester. I'm also curious about Kise's fascination with the sample PM -- I mean, I read "anime character" and just assumed it was the mod's sense of humor, seeing as this has (so far) been decently themed and anime characters don't fit. So I guess

Kise
: Do you really believe there is an anime character in this game?

Faking a vote / post restriction would be awkward.

Kreriov, about the softclaiming.

VP Baltar, Post 52, typed BROTHER at the end of his post, all in capitals and such, yelling it out as only one other wrestler ever did that I can think of, that being Hulk Hogan.

Don Johnson, Post 89, mentioned the many hulkmaniacs.

VP has said this wasn't the case, and Don hasn't said anything much at all, but it looks like he has a posting restriction to deal with, so that somewhat clears him from being pointless.
However, if it carries on this way the entire game, he's dead weight.

About Archons claim. I'm at work so the name means nothing to mer, I can't read up on it or anything, however, the claimed role/alliance sounds similar to my own, so... will post when i get home

@Sotty7 (115) VPB mentioned the jester idea first which led me to consider the possibility. Besides, you haven't explained how such discussion hurts the town; it seems reasonable to me that if we view something as a possibility then we should discuss it and get to the truth of the matter.

Still have yet to see actual scum hunting from massive.

Part of me actually believes Archon's claim, though I don't know if it would be a good idea to make anyone else claim today. Would like opinions from anyone else on this, as our deadline is rapidly approaching.

I don't appreciate Fabian continuing the role specualtion after I said it wasn't helping the town.

Locke Lamora needs to be checked out post haste when I get home from work to view his posting habits in correlation to his timezone.

I don't think considering Jesters is hurting town, but there are more important things to discuss in the immediate future, DDD. Please give us your thoughts on today's lynch.

@VPB (120)

Re: Locke Lamora, I just checked and I'd say that 75% of his posts come between 2 am and 9 am Eastern, so I'd say his explanation holds up.

Arachon is number one on my list still, he knowingly committed himself to an anti-town course of action. He's trying to hide behind meta and hasn't attempted to hunt scum at all, just remove suspicion from himself. His vanilla claim hasn't swayed my opinion of him at all.

Massive would be somewhat close behind him as he's clearly around but so far has shown little interest in hunting scum instead talking about the rules and speculating on setup and roles.

DDD. Really? You jumped onto two wagons, both times absolutely sure of yourself, and you are now tunneling. And of course I need to remove suspicion. we actually need to find the scum here, and wrong accusations need to be met front on by the person being accused.

Alright, I'm home. Sorry if my last post seemed a tad rushed, I had customers right next to me asking for assistance, so I had to cut it short.

VP, I'm not speculating, it seemed to me like two people were softclaiming the same person, that's something I'd rather get sorted out from the get go.

According to the Sample PM, there is a possibility of Fake RCs floating around, but I believe Archons claim, and I'll put his earlier statements about trying out plans that benefit the mafia down to a brainfart on his part.
Ricky Steamboat seems to have been a pretty big deal back in the day.

I'm not sure on who I'd favour for a lynch right now, Locke Lamora vaguely sticks out for not adding much but taking the easy option and jumping onto the Archon wagon, even parroting Hambargarz reasoning for the vote a few pages back.

A jobber is a wrestler who loses matches, thus doing his job, Kreriov.
