As long as you have the experience, there is no sign up list. All you have to do is post your theme here, how many players, and the amount of experience you have. If Phoebus oks it, then he will start a sign up thread for you.

oh ok that sounds quite good. He is currently looking over it for me but i don't know how long it will take and wether i will make it a theme or normal (although the list for normals is really long) I might get a co mod for it but i think i will discuss my experience once i have got the game itself done.

I *have* glanced at it. And it looks good. Haven't quite gotten around to noting down comments.
It is a normal game and my suggestion would be not to try and fit a theme around it.
As it stands right now, I think it would be quite enjoyable as a normal :)

From now till the first of april, my access will be sporadic at best.

Leo and Cadmium have the 'go ahead' to start London II signups whenever they are ready.

I am hoping to start my vacation on or around April the First and may not have access to the internet till April the 15th.
So, any other stamps might take a little while coming but I'll get to it ASAP.

Cheers.
Phoebus.

I'd like to sign up to mod a game here....I ran a
Wild West Game
over at FBg I would run the same ruleset here....it was big hit there.

http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/in ... &p=&#entry

FYI- BJ has modded a few games. His games have been fun and creative and usually well enjoyed. He meets clearly the mafiascum guidelines for modding. Just wanted to get that out there.

Civilization Mafia

For centuries, humans have lived as nomadic tribes, simple hunter-gatherer societies incabable of achieving anything greater. But now for some bizarre reason, 20 tribes have simultaneously gathered, electing a sole leader to govern their fate and establishing a town to form the basis of civilization. But, some of the tribes are nothing more than savage barbarians, trying ruthlessly to destroy everything Humanity has accomplished! Concerned, the leaders of each race arrange to gather at a neutral meeting ground to discuss this at regular intervals, and attempt to work together to eliminate the barbarian menace. Then, in between each meeting, their civilization will either flourish in technology and power, or wither and die.
Will they be able to coordinate their efforts? Or will the barbarian scum manage to divide and conquer the tribes?

Modding experience: viewtopic.php?t=1506

The game's ready, but I would appreciate it if I could get a second opinion on balance. I've run some numbers, and it looks good, but there's considerable mechanics modifications, so a different viewpoint couldn't hurt.

BJ...Please get your setup reviewed by someone and appoint a co mod for the game.
I'll get around to reviewing your previously modded game soon enough.

Sinister Overlord:

Prudent. Please let me know when the setup has been double checked.
I believe you have already asked for help once in the setup review thread but it might be useful to bump that request again.

I have internet access for the next week, until the 22nd.
If it happens until then, great. Or it will have to wait till the first of May.

Cheers.

Pheobus, it is actually the set-up of that game he planned to use. He would run it open role. I can attest to the set-up and game balance. I also will gladly serve as co-mod.

Hmm, unless I am not mistaken Nanook's game is a mini based on quick and the dead-- is there any problem with a full game running with WW theme around the same time?

BabyJesus .. my game is only a mini, and I'm sure it is going to be nothing like yours. I'm basing mine on a film, and the mechanics of it are most likely different then yours .. I'm sorry if it seemed as though I stole an idea from you, in fact I only am using your duel concept in the game (with a little tweek).

it's no problem dude, it's all good. I'll wait and see how the duel concept works out for your mini first anyway

Mafiascum Mafia(not necessarily the final title): Co-modded by Coron (perhaps thrawn1020 as well)

The basic idea behind this game is that everyone will recieve a mafiascum player name and a role independantly of each other. For example, Yaw recieves Internet Stranger and Roleblocker. Yaw would then have certain restrictions to follow to make him seem more ISish, and would be encouraged to add anything else he deemed necessary to seem like IS. The fact that he is IS, though, tells nothing about which side he is on.

The selection of player names is soley based upon the mods' own experiences on mafiascum, so the inclusion or exclusion of a person does not mean that we don't like someone. We just want to make this as fun as possible, so we'll include players that we know better in terms of playstyle that can be documented and put into a role. We are currently working on player restrictions and will start role setup soon. Then we need to get the setup reviewed. Just want to call the theme before someone else does.

Modding Experience:
Mastermind of Sin - Newbie 83 and Mini 163
Coron - Mini 175, http://forum.cmc.redleaf.de/showthread.php?tid=265, and http://forum.cmc.redleaf.de/showthread.php?tid=901
Permanent V/LA.

I'd like to claim Brotherly hate mafia.
Basically everyone has a brother in some way shape or form(certainly not uniformly, what do you take me for?). I'm not sure if this is a big enough weirdness to be considered a theme or if I'm going to go over to normal, but I have the set up all worked out and I'd like someone to look over it and give me comments. I'm gonna post in set up review shortly.

I'll be waiting until the end of the season (end of the month) to potentially retinker with the roles and game mechanic, but I'd like to claim
Lost
Mafia. This will be a straight-forward themed game (to the extent such exists), without the weird mechanisms I've tended to employ in the past. I'll probably run the balance by someone once everything's nailed down, but if the TV season ends with actual information about which characters are evil, I wouldn't want to neglect to take that into account. It's pretty well mapped out at this point, but there are still some details to fill in and a bunch of writing.
It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.
