Hi again mneme, Mr. Flay and StD,
and of course, my warmest welcome:
vote: esme
for the sake of (not so) old times.

Any guesses of how many Warewolfs we are dealing with here?
Is there any chance we have another Herbalist alive?

I don't follow your logic here.
Can you explain that?

Now I'm confused.
I see three of you hugging Pooky - MoS, draygn_mage and bamboomancer.
Does any of them happen to be his lover or are these just friends.
Sorry to get too personal, but this sonnete really puzzles me.

It looks strange to me too.
Pooky, is there any reason, other than romantic passion and poetic urge, that you claim this on the beginning of day 1? This makes you exposed, especially now with a dead herbalist.

I definately agree that we should lynch someone today.
It's just that I am not sure FD2 knows what he is talking about.
I saw many newbies, including myself, voting "no lynch" just to signal they have no current suspect.

CoolBot,
I saw many newbies voting "no lynch". Both mafia and protown. I voted "no lynch" in my first game as a cop. I am sure you saw newbie protown voting "no lynch" too.
I don't like FD2's failure to defend him/herself, but frankly, I think your behavior is more scumy.

I agree "no lynch" is bad. What made me vote on you was your claim that FD2's inexperience is no excuse, when you should be aware of newbie protowns voting "no lynch" a lot. Indeed we should wait for FD2 to say something.
I am in favor of a modprod
.

esme, I do suspect Pooky, but I think we can afford to give him a grace period. At time he might be able to explain more. Anyway, since I don't trust CoolBot, I would be happy to hear some other experienced player say if any of what CoolBot said on Pooky makes sense, trying, of couse, to minimaze the damage to whatever Pooky is trying to do if he is protown.

That explains nothing. Was your vote on FD2 just for bad playing? Because you should have said so. I see no reason to unvote you and I don't understand why STD did so. It looks like you saw a newbie no-lyncher as a good target, and now that Wolfy stands there you go to look for some other victim.

It's time I say a word about mneme and dranko.
mneme's remark about IS's death implying someone experienced is a scum didn't help us much, but it was the kind of reasoning we do need to encourage. IS's death is the only information we have and we need to learn as much as we can from it. The bandwagon on mneme discouraged any reasoning of that kind and is thus bad for the village. I suspect everyone on this bandwagon, with dranko included, so I am fine with lynching dranko.
I also agree with mneme that this day has been going on for too long, especially if that theory on a second group attacking every lunar cycle is true.
Therefore, if the bandwagon on CoolBot doesn't develope soon and if dranko doesn't convience me otherwise, I will switch to him.

Not exactly. Here is the quote you might be referring to.
esme wrote:I suggest that the not-voting people start to vote and if not, we go for them.
Esme never said that if someone is voting we shouldn't bandwagon him/her, just that we should go for those not voting. (And I think this just means putting pressure until they do vote.)
I do not agree with esme on this, but I wouldn't call it "crap logic". It looks like you only use this phrase in order to appeal to STD's allergy. He didn't buy it, and neither do I.

I agree that claiming might be the only way to apease some of the esme-voters, but I am not sure this is a good idea. If she claims villager, they might just say "oh, then it's ok to kill him" and if she is something more powerful, maybe it is better to wait.
My gut feeling is that she is innocent, but I was wrong about her in Newbie 108, so I might be wrong again now. I prefer lynching CoolBot, but if it's either lynching esme or not lynching at all, then I prefer lynching esme. No player did anything really scummy.
This day is going on for much much too long and
we should converge toward a lynch.
I will keep my vote on CoolBot for now, but if I don't see this bandwagon going anywhere, I might switch to esme with hopes we are doing the right thing. A promise from dranko to investigate CoolBot might help.
I call everyone to either choose between esme and CoolBot or give a really conviencing reason about a third candidate. (hint: if people don't follow you, you are not conviencing).

I am also confused about both bandwagons here, but it looks like keeping my vote on CoolBot is futile.
I want to hear more explanations from both esme voters and milkman voters before I decide what to do next.

MOS, I disagree with you about relying on the mod to give us deadlines. There is also this theory of a second group attacking every lunar cycle that we should consider.

I still suspect that mneme found milkman guility. Hence my vote on him. mneme's justification for his vote on milkman looked wierd to me then, so it makes sense that it was based on investigation. I want to hear about it from people who know mneme better than myself.

The accusations against esme seem to me as lame as they were yesterday. I agree with Pheobus that the way the bandwagon was redirected from her to brashhopper should be looked at carefully, but I am not sure esme herself should be targetted for that.

As to Pooky - I was very surprised to find him alive this morning too. I don't know when whould be a good time to end his grace period, because I am not familiar with the kind of role he pretends to have.

If I understand what the mod means by "randomyzing" the role PMs, it is possible that one cop will be a seer and the other will be a gypsy. Similarly, some townies may be villagers and some may be civilians and some may be citizens etc.

I don't think esme is a warewolf.
I played with her when she was a scum in Newbie 108 and it was nothing like what she is doing here. There she went with the town's flow. Never stood out from the crowd. Here she keeps coming out with new ideas and accusations. I just don't think she would change a winning strategy. If she could hide in a crowd of seven players, it should be much easier to hide in a crowd of 20.

I don't think the mod warned about spam. I think it was Phoebus. Anyway, saying your opinion is definately not spam, even if you don't have clear suspiscion.

Nanook, I don't see your point. I guess esme is innocent the same way you claim to guess she is a warewolf. We both have our reasons and we both might be wrong. Of course, if and when she dies her allignment will give hints to the allignments of those who attacked her or defended her. This is how the game works.

As to dranko - yes, he is most probably lying, but there is still some chance he isn't and in that case we should get any information we can from him. Therefore it is better if we don't lynch him or coolBot today.

Yes, the town was spewing lots of bullshit on her. So what did you do? You killed an innocent in order to settle the debate?
Did it occure to you that you could actually
defend
her? I know nanook doesn't like it, but if I could stand his criticism, you could too. If we had more clear sane steady voices against this lynch it could have been avoided. (Nonchalante, this refers to you too).

This is the one thing I do not accuse you of.
But just a reminder - in the game you were modding I was lynched for being cynical (and for many other stupid things I did).
Cynicism is not your friend in this game.
If you could repeat what you were trying to say in post 526 without it, it would help.
Save The Dragons wrote: And I wanna hear the answer to roland's question.
So do I. When dranko reveals his investigation he better explain why he chose whoever he chose instead of you.
But the fact is that he didn't investigate you, and right now I don't see anyone scummier than you. So
vote: Save The Dragons

Good Game werewolves!
I still don't know why you killed me.
Did you think I had a power role (I actually did, but I didn't know it :D) or did I just annoy you too much?
What I still don't get is - how can NanookTheWolf be a werewolf?
Does he become half human every full moon?
And it gets even more comlicated when it comes to werebear...

I was really surprised to see the town didn't do that.
I know I spkoe about giving Pooky some grace period, but you really took that grace period waaaaaay too long.

Well, I must agree Pooky played a very good game. The werewolves definately deserve to win and we should definately listen to what Pooky has to say and maybe learn a bit from it (although in some cases I would be happier if he used a bit more polite language).
I totally agree with the statement that conviencing the town of your opinion is more inportant than finding who the scums are.
The werewolves won together and the town lost together. I also take my blame for not being clearer and more conviencing of my idea of grace period before I got killed.
I think Pooky should get a prize, if not for making fools of us all then at least for the poems.
