Lucky-Page-Thirteen Vote Count
, powered by The Count-Counter 2000:

esme - 7 (milkman, Phoebus, PookyTheMagicalBear, Bamboomancer, CoolBot, NanookTheWolf, draygn_mage)

milkman - 3 (mneme, Save The Dragons, esme)
CoolBot - 2 (Stam, rolandofthewhite)
PookyTheMagicalBear - 1 (Locus Cosecant)
PeaceBringer - 1 (d_rouge)
Stam - 1 (Mastermind of Sin)
Coron - 1 (PeaceBringer)

Not voting (5): Coron, The_Machine86, Nonchalance, brushhopper, Dranko20

11 to lynch normally. At this point, with 16 votes cast, it would take 8 votes to deadline-lynch.

I'll probably prod the worst offenders tomorrow when I get my spreadsheet back in front of me, and replace anyone who doesn't reply by twilight.

Esme, claim or I'll switch votes -- we cannot afford to miss a lynch tonight, and you're the lucky lady with a bandwagon.

Somehow, I am not sure that brushhopper checked that he wasn't already lynching me.

I'm a villager and I will draw your attention once more to the fact that my bandwagon started because I "tried to dismantle a bandwagon of someone with already six votes on him who might need more voting pressure" while I was expected to claim "villager or something so that we can kill you" at six votes.

The recent questions by milkman I have answered before and was labelled overdefensive because of it, just in case you wonder why I didn't answer them again.

If you mean voting you, he wasn't already voting for you.

Unvote: Esme

At least for now so we have time to discuss the claim.

Personally, I don't know how I feel either way about it, Esme really could be a villager, but if she were a werewolf, villager would most likely be her claim, right?

The vote-count changed from 7/16 to 8/17, so it does take checking to make sure.

Nanook: Depends. Villager is the easiest claim, but isn't a particularly safe claim.

Right, I mean sure she could claim angel or seer, and villager is never really a safe claim, but it is one that is pretty hard to confirm for obvious reasons.

In my experience (Yay! I'll get killed for this!)

Townies die day one.

We can't risk losing a power role on day one, and anyone that claims it is probably going to be saved from lynch without a counterclaim.

But a townie...

I'm not saying it's good to kill protown, i'm just saying we could do worse. It's not a bad scum claim since it's hard to confirm and you don't have to justify it in any way. Cop you have to give results, etc. It's the "this is a brick wall, shut up and go home" of claims. This is why I don't put townies in my games. They're too easy to claim and they're boring =P
Show
SIG TIME.

Okay, it's not BABOOM. It's not BAMBOOM.
It's Bamboomancer: like necromancer, but with bamboo instead of necro.

So to recap:
I am not a Baboom. I am some sort of bamboo magic man.

I'm inclined to believe her because she used the correct term for townie. I know it's correct because I am also a villager.
Vote: Milkman
because I'd like to lynch
someone
today.

That last post just reeked of scum to me. Scum better know what a villager is called, otherwise they die. I dont like you claiming like that, it seems to me that you are just setting yourself up to seem more innocent in the future.

Vote: esme

I dont want to force
someone else
to claim, I think we need a cop investigation tonight, and we don't lose much by losing a villager. Also, she can be scum as well.

The mod gave a pdf file with all the correct terms in the beginning of the game.

I completely agree with Bamboomancer, here. I always thought that a townie (or villager in this case) should not be enough to stop a bandwagon, if there's no other information available.

I have been accused (in other games) of scumminess whenever I tried to argue that lynching a claimed townie is better than risking to lose a power role, but it's true.

unvote: Peacebringer, vote: Esme

Brushhopper, your claim was unneccessary at this point and the fact that you defended esme with such a shaky argument is going to make you quite suspect, if esme turns out to be scum.

In most games they are called townies. This game is different and I looked through the first 3 posts of this thread and saw no use of the word villager. Sorry for the uneeded claim. It also looks like there's not much of a chance for people unvoting esme.

It almost seems as though you know she
is
a villager ..

Stam, I believe what Peacebringer finds out about Coron is his inactivity, but I could be off base here. I know I find it strange that Coron isn't being as active as normal, but he did post in the VLA thread about that.

Brushhopper, Just because Esme claimed Villager (the correct term) doesn't mean that she is completely innocent. She may have knowledge of Werewolf terms to begin with. Plus the fact that you just claimed villager as well strikes me as odd ..
Fos: Brushhopper

I find your sudden claim totally uncalled for in that it wasn't needed, and Dranko is right in that you seem as though you are trying to set yourself up for a claim later on.

If need be, I will switch to esme before the deadline, as her claim doesn't really explain her actions.

Like I said. I'm happy killing esme off as a villager. No big loss.
Coolbot, I think you might just have to switch, come time -- esme has the most chance of being deadline lynched and your argument against brush is flimsy at best.

Vote: Brushhopper
.. I'd rather kill of someone who claimed for no reason.

Fos: Phoebus
, You are kidding me right. "You like killing Esme off as a villager" .. ?

I did support the Esme lynch earlier, and to be honest Esme still strikes as a bit off, but the fact that Brush just claims without any speculation strikes me a bit more. Basically this is a choice made between two villagers, it's not like I am supporting another bandwagon to get someone to claim here as brushhopper has already done us the favor.

After going over his last posts, I tend to believe coron's claim to have real life issues.
Nanook, is your vote a punishment for bad playing or do you really suspect Brushhopper?
