My conclusion is that if one of Nuwen or LG were buddying up, it would most likely be Nuwen.

Evidence-

LG's stance seemed to be that Elmo didn't do enough scummy actions.
Nuwen's stance seemed to be based on defending actions that others have found scummy.

I think that scum would be more likely to defend a townie they think is about to be lynched, and Nuwen's stance seemed to be the most likely way of doing it.

You need to back this up. You're simply saying Nuwen's stance is more likely to come from scum, but I want reasons

Ok, now I understand what you mean. I think. I think scum would be more inclined to defend actions, since they know it comes from a townie. Add in the fact that the townie they are defending is a leading wagon that seemed like it will come to fruition, makes it even more likely they will do this, to appear correct and townie in defending the actions.

I'm not outright defending Elmo right now so much as making sure every single person on the lynch wagon has crystal clear motivations and isn't able to pawn off a possible town lynch as "well, he was acting to anti-town and unhelpful and useless."

I tend to stick to a 'crush any and all suspicion on sight' type defensiveness. It works out pretty well.

This makes no sense. If he's town, shutting you out from pressuring him IS conducive to scum hunting, because the idea of scum hunting is to pressure scum, not town.

If I dont get lynched, it increases chances of a scum lynch. A critical part of playing town is not getting lynched, I even view having to claim outside of a massclaim situation a sign that I have not played a good game.

If you have got questions, comments, quotes, anything like that im fine with responding to them. Im going to try to pick apart anything you have against me early on though, instead of just letting a weak case sit on me. Ive said a few times that for practical purposes im voting zazie. I just didnt want to kill all lines of conversation from him, as no majority is actually needed. If he can get something in before deadline, its benificial regardless of alignment.
