Whether there are multiple seers depends on the overall game design.
With a possible single kill group, there might be only one seer.
Else, there might be a seer and maybe his apprentice.

With multiple kill groups, we'd probably have multiple seers.

If there is only one seer but the group is as large as has been speculated, we might have another cop-ish role who snoops or something.
Tons of possibilities.

And Stam, no. If Dranko is lying, the real seer need not come out. With the doc dead, Dranko will go sooner rather than later if he's the real thing.
However, again - given the large setup, we might have a healer apprentice or and apothecary or whatever. We might as well have Dranko investigate Coolbot tonight and see what he says, since Coolbot has raised warning flags for someone.

Well, this day *is* long and now heading to pointlessness with a cop claim.
We need to do something about it soon enough.

What I posted earlier was out of puzzlement. Not an attack.
However, it is now.
Your logic about non voters was redundant for that time frame. Others unvoted and revoted and he claimed. So your suggestion still smells iffy and seemed aimed at bandwagon deconstuction.
With practically nothing to go on, it's just something I noticed. That you would call it an attack, is interesting.
With even more "practical nothing" to go on for now, I might as well vote for you.
Claim villager or something so we can lynch you without too much ceremony?
Your happiness is intertwined with your outlook on life.

I see no reason to give Dranko some time, with only one nightkill per night so far, the pace of the game will allow us to catch him in a lie later.

However I am very alarmed by Stam's question about whether the real cop should come out or not with a counterclaim, since it's probable that scum have some bright players among them, they'll very likely make an attempt to kill Stam because ur question pretty much suggests that you're also a seer.

Since we're probly short on docs at this point, I suggest that the doc make a 50/50 choice between Stam/Dranko because losing a cop in a game with this pace would not be good for us.

We need to get things rolling again.

Lastly, a serenade for my love, my shining light, my evenstar,

See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sunrise on a tropic isle
Just remember darlin' all the while
You belong to me

See the market place in Old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
Just remember when a dream appears
You belong to me

I'll be so alone without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too, and blue

Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
Just remember 'til you're home again
You belong to me

My heart aches for your warm embrace,
The feeling of your breath upon my skin,
Your cheek upon my brow,
Your hands upon my soul,

Don't ever leave me,
I love you, forever.

Phoebus 155:
esme - there's already a fair bandwagon on someone who is being non commital at this time. Why would you want to dismantle it and go after someone else? Especially after you seem to have taken a stand against Coolbot for being a disciplinarian.

milkman 161:
i'm kind of voting but here to generate more conversation i will unvote, vote:esme Is that a little better?
PeaceBringer 174 (total post!)
unvote Dranko, vote Esme
Phoebus 175:

Claim villager or something so we can lynch you without too much ceremony?

I've listed the reasons given for the votes on me above.
Vote 1: Seems to be annoyed by me asking people to vote and
votes me out of spite.
Vote 2: No reason or comment given at all for switching to me
(switching from Dranko is of course understandable after his claim).
Vote 3: Reason given: bandwagon deconstruction by me, see below.

I've copied your first post about me 'dismantling' the bandwagon above. If "non commital" refers to non-voting (as is reasonable to assume since it is an answer to me asking for votes) it is simply wrong. And I said why I wanted to go for someone else.
Your post was an attack because 'dismantling' is a very manipulative way of saying I wanted to go for someone else.

Ok, I suspect that Pooky will stop speaking for the day.
I find it absolutely ridiculous that none of the non-voters have any votes on them while I'm getting voted for pointing them out. I recommend that you read only their posts, it doesn't take long. Maybe you'll agree that while Coron looks very suspicious (not saying anything after his take on mneme didn't find support), The_Machine86 certainly takes the cake for useless posts.

Therefore,
unvote: CoolBot, vote: The_Machine86
. And while you are at it, look at Locus Cosecants posts for future reference (will not take long, either) and note how convenient the cop investigation claim is.

Honestly, That doesn't surprise me too much about coron. I know you might have been eager to give day one a kick in the pants but I didn't see any justification for the "If people aren't voting, they're scum."

You're highest on my scumdar right now, and it's not because of the reasons you stated above. It's because you randomly put fingers on four or five people simply because they were either unsure (me), indecisive(some others), or not around(coron).

Just because we're not voting for who you think is scum doesn't make us scum. I could decide PB is scum and vote for him, but just because my vote is there doesn't mean that you're scum.

I had a felling that dranko wasn't mafia, I went with it.

Vote: Esme
Show
SIG TIME.

Okay, it's not BABOOM. It's not BAMBOOM.
It's Bamboomancer: like necromancer, but with bamboo instead of necro.

So to recap:
I am not a Baboom. I am some sort of bamboo magic man.

I'm not too sure about Dranko's claim, but we have plenty of time for him to make a mistake.

Esme, why go after the non voters? Is there some reason mafia are more likely not to vote than town? It seems pretty much the opposite, since they are trying to direct the lynch away from them.

I did *not* tell you to vote for dranko. Just because you think you know the reasons for the non-voters doesn't change that I'm getting voted by you exactly for what I said, pointing at non-voters.

Please at least pretend to read my posts and votes, the "just because we're not voting for who you think is scum" is so far off.

Don't think Dranko's claim was very convining, but it's too big a risk to lynch a claimed seer at this point in the game -- the wolfies will confirm him or we'll get more info or we'll eventually get a counter-claim; we have plenty of time.

I'm happy to move my vote back to Coron; not sure what's with the esme bandwagon.

Um -- if it's not obvious, I also agree that there's no reason for a counter-claim today; again, we have plenty of time.

I found it interesing. I saw dranko's claims, saw esme's statements and wanted to see what would happen voting wise if my vote landed there. And sure enough there was a quick (for this site) pile up and switch. His comments were ones that often get piled on quickly. The vote clearly is one that has provided more information.

I find STD very scummy myself.

Actually, after reading through the thread, I was thinking to myself, I don't have any idea who is scum.

I started thinking.. hmm, okay, probably someone who would be scum would be someone to jumped on and off of my wagon quickly. Off my wagon because they want to seem more townlike, and on because thats just waht scum does.

I looked it over, and STD seems to fit that match pretty well.

Just my take on it,
unvote mneme(not taking my eye off you) Vote: STD.

Hey Pheobus, tell me again why I should invetisgate CoolBot? Your reasoning.. rather.

OH GOD! I VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO I THOUGHT WAS SCUMMY! SOMETHING IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG WITH ME!

And then, I got off your bandwagon? It is taking all the self control I have not to insult your intelligence. You claimed a fricken seer. Of course I'm off your wagon scum or town. Sheesh. So that's moot.

Fine. You want to nail me for the first point, whatever.

Man, if scum jumped on bandwagons as quickly as I did, this game would be too easy. Food for thought.
