Well that wasn't what I had expected, but unless the roles are distributed in an unexpected fashion, I'll happily grant mith confirmed innocent status. I'd hope that in return my repeated efforts to lynch Gaspode will bring everyone else to grant me non-Horseman status (I recognize it says nothing about me vis a vis the demons).

Okay, we're finally back, but what in the hell happened to Dragon Phoenix? Modkilled for what? I'm going to guess that Death/Gaspode was the "unexplainable deaths" of certain players, and we may not see any more of those.

With both Coron and PB pro-town (apparently), I'd say we're looking for the other Horsemen at this point. I notice that The_Machine86 wasn't willing to vote for him, though he did unvote. Genocide Heart's post 613 is worrisome too, because it echoes the "replace hm, don't lynch him" that Gaspode himself was trying to pull.

Also, what do we think of the claimed masons now? I've forgotten half of what I knew when night fell... :?

Dragon Phoenix quit, and since we needed all the replacements that were available and he quit rather than vanished, DS and I decided to modkill him rather than replace him. If that makes sense.

~shakes head~ I knew there was a chance PB would turn out to be pro-town, but surely he could have done a better job defending himself. I'm not having a good game as far as the newer players go, that's for sure.

Will need to reread some tonight (need to get some things done for once at Uni.) and hopefully I'll find someone else to go after.

I'm not fond of this. Now we know mith has the ability he says he does, but not whether he's pro-town or not. He's also claimed a Miller-type role that shows up guilty to investigations, so we (probably) can't verify him via our cops. Role-claims are illegal, which is what I'd ask for in this situation. And your comment is
"well, I'll find someone else to go after"
? If you can't come up with a way to actually ascertain your worth to the town, we may have to lynch you on principle at this point. After all, there weren't any "extra" kills last night, so you could have been using a mafia/SK bluff.

Your kill method *was* different than we've seen previously. Does anyone have a reasonable theory for who would kill via fish? There was the fish-blockade in the book, so it's possible... does anyone remember who caused that?

mith, we've probably asked this before, but have you killed before? And did you get to choose the manner in which you executed PeaceBringer?

I have a reasonable theory and I am comfortable that the role in question is likely pro-town. I can specify if the town sees fit, but it's conceivable worthwhile to keep it a secret.

Doh, no connection last night, so I haven't had a chance to read. Hopefully I will have one tonight; otherwise, I'll post a bit more tomorrow.

But to the matter at hand:
HOS: mith I'm not fond of this. Now we know mith has the ability he says he does, but not whether he's pro-town or not. He's also claimed a Miller-type role that shows up guilty to investigations, so we (probably) can't verify him via our cops. Role-claims are illegal, which is what I'd ask for in this situation.
Most of this can be addressed by: Read the book.
And your comment is "well, I'll find someone else to go after"? If you can't come up with a way to actually ascertain your worth to the town, we may have to lynch you on principle at this point. After all, there weren't any "extra" kills last night, so you could have been using a mafia/SK bluff.
I was refering to voting, not killing. You know, that thing we do during the day that usually decides whether the town wins or not? As for the rest, it seems based on ignorance rather than suspicion. Refer to "Read the book".
mith, we've probably asked this before, but have you killed before? And did you get to choose the manner in which you executed PeaceBringer?
No, and no.

In the book the pile of fish are just another one of all the weird occurences which portend the End of Times.

Which, actually, does suggest a pro-town role for Mith.

Also, did anyone investigate DoomCow, LC, or Darklight?

My earlier post seems to have not gone through.

Mod: Seol will not be able to post for an indefinite amount of time.

As such he would like to be replaced.

Thank you.

Right, we still have way too many people not actually playing. Hopefully we can get some replacements soon. Given that there were only two deaths, and one from a vig, it's looking quite possible that at least some of our scum are among them. If we don't get some replacements or modkilling soon, we'll probably have to start weeding them out, which is annoying as I'd much rather them be active and defending themselves.

For now, though, I will

Going out of town for a few days, but I'm taking the book with me to reread. Maybe more of the night events will make sense to me then.

I'll probably be able to check in from time to time, but for now

I'm here, and thankfully unreplaced. I was involved with a project part of april through the beginning of may. I distinctly remembering writing a post about how I would be low-access, but maybe I never hit Submit.

I'm rereading the thread, and it looks like mith is in the clear. I'm going to
vote: Aelyn

Is it that hard to use the little post filter and search for your name in my posts?

Mostly, just my ongoing crusade against people not posting anything of substance. We have enough people not posting at all as it is. You apologized yesterday for not posting much, so I'm putting you on the spot to see what you have to say today. There should be more than enough to work with at this point.

I am pretty sure that what you got on me was due to my role rather than yours.

So,

As it's been a while, when I read the book I have to ask from you with better grasp of the concept (Fuldu, mith):
Is there only one person in the list of characters that is good but gives bad vibes?

Oh, there are probably several... Crowley, for one, but he's dead already. That said, I can guess from the questions I was asked yesterday what Pooky got about me, and expect that he is at least mostly useful.

(In other words, I'm confident he does get accurate results, from a certain point of view, and that does at least put Peachy to the top of my list, pending more information.)

Oh, of course. Got it. Yes, I agree with mith that the character I believe Pooky is is probably useful and that the pro-town character that I believe mith is might well appear scummy to Pooky.
