I should have full access back monday, so if no one has replaced me by then I will no longer need replacement. Will try and do a little read and catchup in the meantime at work, as if I get back two days to deadline I want to at least be able to contribute immediately

Because unlike Fluff, you're not even trying to say I'm scummy. You just say everyone else (eight people!) is towny.

In terms of annoying ways to be voted this is right behind "I'll vote whomever X votes. I trust him." when all X has done all game is vote me.

Yes, but why is it annoying? Do you think it's undeserved, do you think I'm incorrect, do you think my reasoning is wrong?

Ok, ignore my second to last post. I was able to fix my computer myself, so I should not have any more problem getting on.

Elmo- I'll wait for TDC to answer before I jump in, but I do have an opinion on your actions and TDC's actions.

In part its that I liked whay he did at the end of the day yesterday, also I got a gut read when I was rereading during the night before I realized that I would need to be replaced. His early play today also says gut town to me, im not a fan of speculation, but I see this coming from town more then scum.

@TDC - So who is scum? Yes im asking again but I still have no idea on you.

Actually if everyone can answer that in a line or two it would be nice.

I don't know WHY you think everyone else is more townish, so I can't judge. How about you tell me?
Elmo wrote: Do you think I'm incorrect that everyone else is more townish?
I have a bit of a bias when I look at my own play. I don't think I'm doing particularly good, but the good-bad axis is not equivalent to the town-scum axis. I would hope that my towniness shines through anyway, so to speak.
Do you think my reasoning that if everyone else is more townish than you then I should be voting for you is incorrect?
No. That said with 10 alive that's a rather weak line of scumhunting. This is where I'm a hypocrite, because I'm not doing better either.

On a scale from one to ten (one being least, ten being most) how innapropriate would it be to make a Nuwen joke about a vodka and sleeping pills cocktail?

Well, assumably that's deadly, but not knowing if she has a depressive history, 4 at most from me.

Elmo- You are trying to lynch someone who you feel isn't scummy (I'm guessing), just not as townie as everyone else. Is this a good reason to lynch him? No. Is this a good reason to pursue him and see if he becomes scummy? Yes.

I think the only time you should vote someone because you find everyone else townie is if you are a cop and got innocents or it is nearing end game.

I need you to point out specifically what at the end of the day led you to this conclusion so I can evaluate it myself because when I went back I saw nothing that tugged at my hearstrings.

Your other two points are gut (and I'm not going to replace my gut instincts with those of someone else) and the speculation argument which I've made my opinion clear on.

TDC, I think you can comment on whether you agree with my conclusions without knowing the reasoning behind them. Not undeserving would simply mean that you thought it wasn't unreasonable for me to conclude what I did. Incorrect would mean, I suppose, that if you were in my place, you'd come to a different conclusion. I don't think you really answered either.

What bias do you have looking at your own play? Why exactly would your "towniness shine through"? What do you mean by "a weak line of scumhunting", and why's that bad?
forbiddanlight wrote:Nuwen. I really don't know who else at this juncture. Since we have 28 pages of NOTHING.
Weren't you fairly bloodthirsty for me taking the same stance?

Battousai, why do you think I'm trying to lynch TDC?

Also, deadline is in like 2 days, 20 hours.

People who don't especially want Nuwen lynched, who would you actually like lynched instead? Who still actually cares who we lynch if it's not them?

...
Again, how would I EVER come to the conclusion that everyone but me is town? How could I possibly agree? That just makes no sense whatsoever.
I don't know what the point of this is either. It might be the case that even scum is doing a better job than me, but you're apparently not willing to tell me how so.
What bias do you have looking at your own play?
Uh, the bias that it's.. me?
Believe it or not, but I can't actually step out of my shoes and go "Oh, let's look how this TDC dude is doing".
I mean let's say I, all on my own, mislynched someone. Would I be aware that that could make me suspicious? Sure.
Would I be able to read what I wrote leading to the lynch without thinking "This lynch is justified"? Would I suddenly think "Man, this TDC dude is so scum!" Hell, no.
In the same vein, I can realize I wasn't the most productive player D1 (D2 arguable, has seen the whole town drop near my level..). But I will never come to the conclusion that I'm less town than anyone else.
Why exactly would your "towniness shine through"?
As in, when reading my posts, people might notice I'm town. I would hope that this happens. I'm not saying that I'm obv-town or anything like that.
What do you mean by "a weak line of scumhunting", and why's that bad?
It is the weakest possible attack (well, arguably, it isn't even an attack) you could possible raise. Perhaps you're trying to do something although you don't have anything, perhaps you're just tryting to look like you do something. I don't know.

TDC, who do you suspect? I can't find you saying anything to that effect recently.

Incidentally, I think that's what Elmo meant. If you disagree with him, who do you think is the most scummy? It's generally a bad idea when asked who is scum to respond that it's not you, as you have done so far. Don't get me wrong, I don't think you're scum, but you're not helping yourself here.
