Newbie 839 - Game over

I have nothing else to say as this game is so slow that i have gotten bored with it. i will try playing one more time on this forum and if its the same i will find another place to play.

what would you prefer?

As a matter of fact, it wasn't Diakron that asked the power roles to claim. It was Raskol.

Hmm. My apologies for not posting more often, Calculus is a cruel mistress. However, I don't think I would be an undercontributer. In any case, I dunno if Raskol is in the clear yet for me. He is doing a great job of drawing attention to himself, something rather unscummy, but it could just all be a ploy, act brazen and have people think your not. And eek! I'm being bandwagoned!

Are you suspicious or not? In either case, try not to rely on that kind of "but maybe that's just what he WANTS us to think!" reasoning, it's called WIFOM and it's generally frowned upon for good reason.

Time for me to make up a case on Tehstefan to solicit more votes.

ISO #0: Random Votes for Bub, my experience suggests that even in the RVS that scum vote for townies. I’ve got a town read on Bub so far so that’s a strike against Tehstefan. (This point also applies to Maemuki, Raskol, and Del)

ISO #3 and ISO #4: Shows no interest in scum hunting, phrases everything as a question to avoid taking a firm stance.

ISO #5: FoS is a slight scum tell and since he directs it against another town read of mine that’s another strike. He then piggybacks off of the logic of someone else to cast a vote on someone else.

Add all that to his dreadful lack of contribution and he’s the best person to vote for.

Of course, even if all of that weren't true, it would still be worthwhile to lynch him just on the basis of being a lurker.

I highly doubt Bub and Debonair that I'm the worst lurker. And as for not scum hunting, I perfer a cautious approach, though maybe that is a bad idea, considering it is a tell, from my recent readings.

You still haven't answered any of DDD's other points. Besides, the fact that you are not the worst lurker further proves that you are scum. The worst lurker doesn't post at all because he quit the game. You also confirm this by shifting the blame to another person who is "a worse lurker".

Still, I'm simply pointing out that by your own logic, I'm not the best choice, as you said. As for his points, one point he conceeded belonging to several people, all of whom can't be scum, there aren't that many. I admitted that I tend to not take firm stances, since its true, but as for the last thing, isn't that tied into the second? Seems odd to make it its own point when its similar to the others.

See, if you were really concerned about that you would've moved your vote to wagon him here, but you're not even attempting to scum hunt in that respect you've just parked your vote on the person most likely to be lynched besides you.

I want solid fact before I go to lynch someone, not vague feelings on whether or not to do it. I pointed him out merely to show that your logic doesn't hold up. Besides, you seem to me to be more concerned with bandwagoning me into being lynched than honestly scum hunting, as most if not all your points could be directed to several people.

His defense was very weak and scummy, throwing the blame on somebody else. He only started posting once we got him up in high vote numbers, and when he did, it made him look all the scummier.

Why? For several reasons. One, he was awfully quick to switch to me right after I was being bandwagoned, even though before then he'd been quite firm on considering Diakron scum. As well, His reason, saying my reasoning was weak and scummy, was already said, he brought no new points to the argument. As for not posting until I got high numbers, thats not true, since I did at several points point out different things. He seems all too quick to throw his hat wherever the most votes are, which to me seems scummy.

Yeah, makes no difference, but hey, I'm going to be lynched anyway. Just saying, one town is going to die no matter what, no reason to make it two.
