I actually kinda agree with dramonic. A role that only blocks scum kills seems odd to me. To clarify, Synx, does your role pm specifically say you only block scum kills, or does it simply prevent kills in general?

You guys are right, it doesn't specifically say scum, I just assumed that. Without risking a modkill, the PM paraphrased states that: each night I can attempt to defuse one player. If that player attempts to kill someone, they will fail.

Having realized that, I think it's obvious that Almaster isn't an SK.

The other thing I took issue with is you misspelling "defuse" as "diffuse" twice the first time you claimed, but also putting it in inverted commas. This implies you were reading from your role PM, but charter wouldn't misspell "defuse".

Maybe the scum kills with the 'bomb', and SK/Vig does not? But that point is moot as Synx already cleared it up. I'm not sure about Synx now, first the diffuse/defuse thing, and now the scum/any kill thing is a bit fishy.

There were two kills last night, and one was SHOT. I daresay bombs would not shoot. The shooting could, of course be a vig. But I'm rather against that idea.

Honestly, this game feels a bit dead. Synx's claim seems fake for previously mentioned reasons, and I don't feel discussion going much of anywhere else. I don't see any problem with a Synx lynch right now.

What's the point of this? It's not like you are asking him to delve into a complex analysis of his gameplay where he could potentially slip up and give us info. The "explanation" is short, dead simple, and will be the same whether he is town or scum. There is nothing to be gained by letting him explain his error. You either believe it was a mistake or you don't. End of story.

Obviously. However, "his excuse" has nothing to do with this. If we aren't lynching, it should be for THAT reason, not because you thought what he said was legitimate.

Not terribly much to say. I'm a bit flustered by the shift in the last day from no votes but mine to L-1 on synx, but he's lying scum and I'd support a lynch anyways (not shifting my vote yet as I want to hear any final words).

It's not answering for Synx because I haven't actually answered the question that was asked of him. All I am pointing out is that, regardless of what he says, it doesn't matter because the answer is going to be the same either way.

As far as my "general snark" goes, I fail to see how you're doing any better. All you've done is vote for me based on some awful logic that 1) makes no sense and 2) could be applied in multiple ways. You also have yet to respond to my rebuttal. At least I'm making points and following up on them.

You dismissed any conclusions based on Synx's responses before they were made, which is both nonsensical and completely unhelpful for town in any way. While your assumptions may prove true, I see no reason that town would dismiss any hope for evidence so readily. On the other hand, I think how a question is answered can be as much evidence as the factual statement itself.

Your rebuttal to my earlier comment was the assertion that as scum you wouldn't act like scum. I felt no need to remark on it, but I think my continued vote was indeed a response.
