Hm. He points out weird word usage, which I don't think is a scum tell at all, unless it's very obvious, such as knowing the roles due to set ups. He asks a lot of questions. They're not exactly pointing out anything scummy at the moment, however, and are pretty simple questions. I get neutral vibes. We'll see if he steps up his questioning and actually points out anything noteworthy, won't we?

To the former, placing forth the possibility x is a Jester when their actions are scummy would be used to

I think the point he was trying to make would be your ability to manipulate the situation to your liking, whether X be your scum partner or Y, in which instance you've simply distracted the town long enough to hop on a bandwagon which you have no intention to take anywhere.
