Well im not psychic with any preconcieved visions of who may or may not be scum. Frankly when i go into a game everyone starts with a scum level of zero. It builds from there depending on peoples interactions, thoughts and their votes. Do you not think?

I enter the game with null reads. And people then move up or down on my scum-town slider.

You're right about Sanjay. He's using a crap reason to vote BC and is a few pages late. By the time he voted BC there was several other stuff happening (iirc) so I think he was just playing safe and going with the most obvious antitown play so far. And the 175 you pointed out clearly contradicts his vote on bc (and also pretty hypocritical considering he's still voting for BC).

How serious were you about the emoticon tell on Snow White?

I need to do a readthrough of her past games to give you a decent answer to this. An sich it's pretty null, however, if her selfproclaimed behavior of (over)using emoticons is incorrect and conflicting with previous games it might be interesting to look deeper into it. Making it, effectively, a snow-tell.

The only interesting thing I found about it so far is that she almost immediately stopped using emoticons from the moment I noted it, as if she was trying to appease/calm me.

I'll get back on this later when I've read her games.

Averages of emoticons/posts per alignment for Snow white.

Town : 0.51 e/p (ignoring outliers, it's 0.35 e/p)
Scum : 0.89 e/p
Third party : 1 e/p

In this game,
Before I noted her of her emoticon use : 1.80 e/p
After I noted it : 0.36 e/p

Am I going somewhere with this? I don't know. I should have counted words in each topic as well but that's a bridge (or five) too far. But judging from the data above, there's something off. To switch from an excessive use of emoticons to 1/6th of that after someone noted it and saying you're expressive doesn't add up to her emometa.

You don't need to, MME already did that for you.

I think he's implying that over-use of emoticons has a meta for you as being a sort of subconscious nervous tick when you're scum. I don't know how many games he went through to get those stats, and I'm well aware that correlation does not imply causation, but it's interesting nonetheless.
I'm not sure how seriously he meant it, but sometimes people do things like that without even realising they're doing it. Perhaps scum-you subconsciously uses more emoticons to try to appear more friendly, that kind of thing.

I'm not really inclined to take it as a serious scumtell/piece of evidence, but it'll be interesting to see if it really did predict how you flip.

Exactly my sentiment. I'm aware that correlation doesn't cause causation, but it is interesting nonetheless. And for the record, I checked every game of hers that finished or where she died and thus flipped.

First a reply to snow's bigass post.

What i REALLY didnt like was MME's fifth vote on BC AFTER BC fos'd myself, Mufasa and Lowell (in the order we followed his vote)

It was and still is fairly obvious that I was spiting BC by voting him after he fossed everyone.

MME finds my use of emoticons noteworthy. All i can say is i was on a happy vibe. But ive quit using them now. He votes Snow White. Jumping off the BC wagon. Which i like somewhat.

Dislike MME's attempt at verifying a vote on Snow White. Initially voted over use of emoticons, he is now happy voting me due to additional offenses of AtE and OMGUS. Admittedly I do use AtE quite alot. Its not the first time someones tried to use it against me. But for arguements sake ill post a list of other games when ive been town and used it too. It just comes naturally im afraid. Dramaqueen, but not normally in the sense of "if you lynch me you'll regret it". My AtE all tend to have a dramatised point.

Using AtE "quite a lot" does not make it right. And while you're at it making that list of you being town and using AtE, add a second list to that mix and show us how many times you've used it as scum. What are you thinking here? That we'll go "oh, she uses it a lot and she uses it as town, in that case...". Seriously.

MME post 91 states he likes the position of Saber's vote on Snow White but that there is poor reasoning behind it. (With his own vote on me.) Why would you say that there is poor reason to a wagon and then back it? Do you feel this lynch is the correct one? Would you be happy to see me lynched?

The problem I'm having here, snowwy, is the use of the word "random" and "inevitable mislynch". Sure, you're saying "could be", but what you're saying is "look at other people instead of me and <insert the other bandwagon dude (forgot who it was)>". The "random" also is a bit "eh" as most of the votes on you were somewhat justified at that point and feels like a hidden AtE.

And I'm not policy lynching. That's idiotic.
