Nanook, is your vote a punishment for bad playing or do you really suspect Brushhopper?
Depends on how you look at it I suppose. How do you figure it's punishment really when out of no where he claims. That to me is bad play which makes me suspicious. Isn't bad play usually a key in finding scum, if not then I've been playing wrong since I've joined this site.

Given the Herbalist (not Angel), I don't think we can assume this game has the same role names as every other werewolf game.

As such, there are many, many people I'd rather lynch than our "claimed townies".

If we seriously go this long on Day1 and still manage to get confused by the mafia into nolynching at the deadline I'm going to be very disappointed :O(

Esme's bandwagon looks like the only one that's going anywhere.

All these random votes lying around just increase the chances of NL hitting :O(

I'm really concerned about brushhopper's claim, but if he's just defending esme and she turns out as scum then i say our next lynch should be Brushhopper.

You took me a little bit out of context here.. but thats okay! I'll explain even more. I mean, I even added at the end she could still be scum too. But you see, I think that it is better that we kill a villager rather then revealing ANOTHER seer or more importantly, revealing an Angel. I honestly think that the proper move now is to lynch Brushhopper. He also claimed Villager, and is a WHOLE lot scummier.

If you guys want to use a lynch on me, go for it. I have no abilities, I am just a townie. I made a mistake, I claimed when there was no reason to. All I ask is that you either lynch esme today or tomorrow. If you lynch her today and she is scum, by all means lynch me. If you lynch me today and it shows I'm a townie, lynch her tomorrow. There is really nothing more I can say. Also I'm not familiar with these terms. I know seer=cop. But what is an angel?

From these two posts it seems like you're not really convinced that esme is lying about her claim, but since you've not managed to get people to unvote her, you just jump back on the bandwagon in order to get a lynch today. And this is all well and good, but then you write

Now it seems that you're very sure that she's scum, but your argument makes no sense at all: you being townie (villager) doesn't imply in any way that she's scum.

brushhopper wrote:I know seer=cop. But what is an angel?
Per the Princeton rules, an Angel is an investigator of Mafia (the original "Cop" role). I believe what people here are using the term for would be a protective-type role, like a Doctor. This is commonly called a Sorcerer in Werewolf.

Someone mentioned the PDF with the 'standard' Princeton roles for Werewolf; they can be found here: http://www.princeton.edu/~mafia/roles.3.0.pdf

For clarity, the "Herbalist" is a modification of the Wolfsbane role (he really only had one herb the village was interested in).

Wow what was I thinking when I wrote that. Anyway I'm willing to be lynched today for the good of the town. Losing a vanilla townie does not hurt that much.

WTH people.

Voting for yourself is sometimes a necessity. It is NOT always a sign of giving up. If Brush is really a townie, then he is not giving up, he is sacrificing himself so we don't kill a power role.

Please.

It is now Night Two. Accommodating the weekend, night choices are due by Wednesday, June 8th, at 11:59pm.
I will continue looking for a replacement for The_Machine86, which is another reason night may run longer than the usual 72 hours. If everything goes smoothly, we will dawn earlier than Thursday morning.
