I think you just said it was because you were trying to be chummy, or at worst because you were trying to spread ungrounded suspicions, both which ARE scumtells.
How did you go from "supporting a theory that is rubbish" to "casting suspicion on a lot of people"?SJ wrote:And casting suspicion on a lot of people so you can support favorable lynches later is a genuine scum tactic. That's why my vote is on you, ConfidAnon.-

Congratulations on winning the "Most Useless Player I've Ever Seen" award. If you don't feel like playing properly, ask to be replaced.
Thanks.-

Wanna try again? Do you have reasoning behind anything you do?EtherealCookie wrote:I self-voted because I was left out of the fun.
I'm a hypocrit. You basically copied his voting pattern... You voted for yourself, just like BigBear, and now you are questioning BB's erratic behavior (Even after you self-voted?)
I don't know, you tell me!I can't tell what you are trying to do with your Shrinehme vote EC... You said that it won't do anything. But you refuse to take the vote off of him. Then after you are questioned, you decided to act all hardcore about the vote. Seems like you are trying to feel your vote..-

Hm. He points out weird word usage, which I don't think is a scum tell at all, unless it's very obvious, such as knowing the roles due to set ups. He asks a lot of questions. They're not exactly pointing out anything scummy at the moment, however, and are pretty simple questions. I get neutral vibes. We'll see if he steps up his questioning and actually points out anything noteworthy, won't we?DeathRowKitty wrote:What do you think about Peabody's play so far?
So you're telling me that we need 100% proof that a person is scum before lynching them? Well damn, we won't get anywhere with that. All of a sudden you acknowledge you could be wrong... but you could be right... Why is your vote even on BigBear?
Why the self vote? Are you playing off of Far_Cry's WIFOM comment bc you thought it was a good idea?EtherealCookie wrote:Don't leave me out of the fun!
If someone pointed it out, why are you pointing it out again? People do read the posts, y'know.I think someone already pointed this out, but these two quotes seem contradictory:
I'd love to know your reasoning for that. Being a useless townie must mean you're scum, right?Early reads detect possible scum pair: Far_Cry/EthrealCookie

Being useless means having no initiative to scum-hunt, or distracting from scum-huting.EtherealCookie wrote:I'd love to know your reasoning for that. Being a useless townie must mean you're scum, right?
And since the town's win condition relies on hunting scum, while scum's does not... it makes a scum tell.-

We are way out of the RVS and you said that the game "needed to take a more serious turn" in post 128, yet you behaving erratically like you don't really care about the game at all.
I'm not a fan of WIFOM arguments and all that, which is why I'm not commenting on things like BigBear's play right now until I can get a proper sense of him. But you on the other hand, would make a good lynch today, simply for the fact that you don't seem to be helping the town much at all.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats the impression I get.-

Ah, the weekend. Is it just me or do the Readskins really suck and just got lucky? Or is it just their quarterback? Ah well, the people of Falls Church have more important things to worry about.
"OH, I see it now Looker!", says EtherealCookie as he tightens the noose around his neck.
"Hmm, to tight, I think this would look better on Shrinehme."
"Whoa!", says BigBear, "If one more person pulls on that rope, Shrinehme will be lynched!"
"No, I think it would take at least two more people", says EtherealCookie.
"Besides", says BigBear, "You didn't say mother-may-I".
EtherealCookie - "I don't have to say mother-may-I! See, it says so right here in Martha Stewarts'sThe Etiquette of Lynching!"
Looking a bit puzzled, Looker seems to wander off muttering, "But its WIFOM, but if they knew it was WIFOM, its not really WIFOM, but if they knew that I knew, then it is WIFOM, but if they know that I knew that they knew, then its not really WIFOM, but if they knew that I knew that they knew..."

Really? I'm not pointing out anything scummy? I would say that my questions are being used to hunt scum.EtherealCookie wrote:

What I'm saying is normally people are pretty sure they want someone lynched, and they don't normally bring WIFOM into the picture. It looks a lot like fencesittingEC wrote:

Yes, but it's always good to look at it from another angle.EC wrote:

Looker, what do you think of my allegation that your theory is so bad that ConfidAnon is scummy just for supporting it?Looker wrote:Okay, just throwing it out there, shoot it down if you want.
You get the most votes, the closest to a lynch, and then BigBear votes no lynch.
Far_Cry votes BigBear for wanting a no lynch.
You vote Far_Cry.
Shoot it down.Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk.-
