So here's my issue with all this. Animo said was that he was Vin, doctor (I know, I know, bad bad name claims but it's out there). How likely is it that Vin would be a doctor in the first place? As a fan of the movies, this is something that I highly doubt.

Because a good chunk of everyone is going off the fact that there can't be a doctor and a bodyguard in the same game. I definitely think that Animo was lying about being a doctor, and that a bodyguard is feasible.

just as feasible as a scum bodyguard imo. none of us are vanilla. the claim doesn't negate the scumminess.

also, i think some players are suspicious of the claim because of the time its taking to get answers from sk, and not just because of the claim itself. in fact, i would venture a guess that only about 10% of the suspicion surrounding sk has to do with his claim. he's gotten himself to the gallows with a bunch of other maneuvers. there is really no need to run someone else up to claim at this point. if we mislynch, we mislynch a power role regardless. we are all power roles. "bodyguard" isn't all that good anyway, if his ability works, it still doesn't clear anyone as we have no way of knowing who he's taking the bullet for.

Hadn't considered this, but it's a really good point and makes me much more comfortable about this lynch.

2.) One major post is a PBPA for a TOWN read on Faraday
3.) Attacking DJ for "hopping on" while ignoring my case overall.
4.) Claiming to BG me because scum would kill me to make my case on him stronger.

I'm really hesitant to cast my vote with Mordy and don_johnson, and if SK flips town, I'd say either of them make a great vig target tonight.

That said, I'm not buying SK's claim. It's not really the BG + Doc thing: I could actually see a setup like that, especially given it's a theme game. However, the last couple of posts make it pretty obvious he's coming up with this role as he posts. He's a bodyguard... who protected SpyreX last night because he didn't want to get lynched (but didn't mind getting killed)... who's really an undercover cop but can't investigate (or can he?)... who's apparently not answering questions anymore. Add my previous unanswered questions about his DJ case and the reasons SpyreX posted, and I've got enough to overcome the indigestion I'm going to feel from joining Mordy and DJ.

Not that I'd need a lot of convincing to vote for Starbuck (considering how scummy I found her earlier in the game), I've gotta say that it seems unlikely to me that scum would be defending their partner at L-1. So Starbuck's last minute protest would have been a really poor scum play (unless she thought that she could actually convince people to switch the lynch target).

I don't know why this is certainly true. It's obviously a possibility, but I don't know why you're so definite about it. ("and I'd like a chance to help figure out who," is a little too ingratiating for my tastes.) Why are you so sure a scum is bussing?

(Also, just pointing out a little inexact speaking on Starbuck's part which may indicate she's a bit flustered at the moment: "I figured. I was wrong. Shadow Knight obviously didn't vote for himself, and I didn't because I did feel that Vince would not be a doctor, and so that a BG claim could be feasible. Obviously I was wrong, and Shadow fooled me pretty good.

I wanted to take a look at who hammered because I know that we really don't hear much from JereIC, and he just popped in quick enough to hammer and disappear again. It kinda bothered me.

It seems to be pretty opportunistic for him to come in and hammer his scum buddy and look like a hero.
