And what do we get from this case? A case of sorts on DJ (although, more a perusal than anything else).

And this case comes AFTER:

We are at 27 pages and I'm re-reading back thru the game which definitely takes longer than an hour. I have Mozilla, so I have that nice tab thing open where I have this game open in one and the rest of MS in another (plus my other random sites in other tabs).

It's also about 3 am for me and I haven't been to bed yet. So I may not have this up until sometime tomorrow.

Starbuck, if you're really not scum, please answer the following few questions:

1) If you believe that DJ is scum, how do you explain SK's numerous attacks upon him? Do you believe SK was trying to bus DJ, but then in an ironic twist DJ bused SK?

2) Do you really believe DJ's vote on SK was a bus? Take a look at his voting. He really jumped on with SpyreX, which, while that may rub me the wrong way, doesn't have the smell of a bus in the least.

3) When SK was under attack, he began to attack DJ vehemently. Let's pretend they were both scum. Does that really make sense as a good strategy? Isn't it a bit suspicious that when you're under attack, you employ the exact same strategy?

I find your case against DJ is very weak, and, to quote DJ, it sounds a lot like,

spot on for a textbook "desperate scum trying to lynch anyone but myself" thing.

No. My issue was the I'm reading up / posting in other games / saying I wont be able to post / FOSing EVERYONE on your wagon / putting up a case on DJ (which isn't reading and if there wasn't time for the reread like you said why not say you were posting a case on DJ) / and then opting not to answer the questions before you.

But, whatevs. A neighbor claim wasn't going to live to lylo in this setup even if you are town which, due to recent events, I doubt.

I'll say this, Starbuck. I've never played on a different game with you, but if you are in fact Town, you've played a very poor game here. You're certainly not pro-Town, no matter what your alignment may happen to be. You've done no scum-hunting, and you've made yourself very suspicious.

Let's say you're Town. If you can help us secure a victory, you'll get a win even if you're lynched right now. A Town player is interested in a Town win more than they're interested in their personal survival. So why not do all the extra work to answer questions? Any information you give us now will help for tomorrow, whether or not you survive.

I have scumhunted and the fact that you say I didn't makes you a very poor town player. I pointed out legitimate facts about DJ. You can look up every single one of those quotes. I'm pretty sure no matter what I posted none of you would have cared anyways since you are all tunneling on me and no one else.

I find DJ very suspicious. I've found him suspicious for awhile. But look at the three questions I posed to you. They all assuage his suspicion at this particular time. How do you explain that? How do you explain a scenario where DJ and SK are both scum?

I defended SK, because it did seem odd to me that Animo would claim Vince and that Vince would be a doctor. Are any of you familiar with the characters of the first and fourth movie? A BG in this game did sound more feasible, and let's not forget that DJ did agree with me on that fact. I was definitely wrong, but you never saw me discount his scumminess.




In answer to 682:

1. Distancing. If they attack each other, most people will come to the conclusion that one of them is scum and the other is not. So when SK flipped scum, that pretty much cleared DJ for the rest of you.

2. I posted DJ's voting history. Look at his Day 2 and how much he jumps around, but always ended up back on SK. He seems to just want someone, anyone, dead.

3. Again, distancing.
